Did this video help you?

mburke1211: Thanks for sharing your build. I got some great ideas. Really like the idea of using it for filming from outside the kayak.

cmltow413: Awesome dude. Looks just like those overpriced sticks you find in the store. Best stake out pole I've found is a flag pole from the golf course. 7ft tall, with a weighted end so I can spear it into to the bottom when the water is deeper than 7ft. It's also super flexible.

kJfishman: This is the best home made stakeout pole I have seen, thanks for sharing!

Dane D Fishing: heck of a video man.  I plan on making one in the near future and def will use your idea.  I also film quite a bit so like the camera idea.  maybe ill do a short video as well, who knows but great idea will give it a try.  Be a great little pole so i can stand and flip and punch out of my kayak for bass

juan carlos martinez: this is awesome  idea thanks

Stu B: Great video. Making one tonight. : )

Keith James Lapere: thx great idea!

rizangler: Great idea thanks.

Rodolfo Diaz: You should win some sort of award. Nice job. This is something many people can benefit from. Push pole also don't destroy grass beds like anchors and chains

Steve Petrik: Nice Job.  I dig the camera mount as well.  I'm going to build one this weekend.

Mike Hall: nice!

Addison Roberts: I did the same thing but I used a 8 ft piece of pac, 8.2" aluminum rod about half the diameter of the pac and took the expandable foam after caping of one end and put that with the aluminum rod in and waited 24hrs and it works great. about 10% flex and extremely light weight (my main concern). I also found one of those ad's on ebay where they make 3d printer products for you and I had someone make me a foot for a push pole for 13 bucks and put that at the end with two rivets. I don't think I will ever buy another push/stake out pole again.

Barry D McGhee: Going to try this today. Awesome idea bro!! Thanks a lot for sharing!

curtis haughton: tip.......coat your oak with epoxy resin, or polyester resin , or even marine spar varnish ,guaranteed no rot ever1

j17blue: Great post and innovation bw3288. Thanks for sharing. I'll be out to get some pvc pipe and dowel rod this weekend. Cheers

H Sadler: thank you so much for this !

808strykr: thanx for posting! great idea :)

Jeff Krushinski: Great video. Was thinking of making my own pole also. Yours is excellent. One thought. If you put a nut to protect the threads of the stud you have on the "T" end, you could use that end as a push pole.

MadSmokerBBQ: sweet design. I want to make one for my jonboat.
