zuumbafoo: try running nova 3 peeps n tell me what ya think
zuumbafoo: nova 3 runs a little bit choppy on the galaxy s3. is this just me? i guess the 2gbs of ram is not that great compared to running nova 3 on the quad core version of the ssgs3. i have seen vids. it runs smoother. none of the less the ssgs3 america version is still an awesome phone. it runs most of my crap better then anything i have used so far as far as cellphones go. cant wait for ssgs4 now!
b1gbudda: i heard android jelly bean needs 2 gig of ram, i got the europian quadcore with 1gb ram, will jely bean run fine on it?
448530: i really want this phone!!!!!!!!!!
smartboy158: Yeah and hopefully some 5G Hex core phones with 5gb of ram and a 12mp camera with triple flash. and a 5 inch screen.
PhoneBuff: I've heard end of 2012 for the Tegra 3. Hopefully in 2013 we won't have this issue anymore. And by that time, Android should be more optimized for quad-core processors anyways.
smartboy158: Oh, and when will they got the technology to use any processer with 4G LTE >:( Like tegra 3 needs to be compatible with 4G lte soon. SO does exynos. Its all about qualcomm and stuff >:O. I dont even like s4 i never liked it!
smartboy158: IF you got it within a month return it o_O
smartboy158: WHat does ram do?! ;O And im so excited for this phone im about to explode! Lol Getting it on at&t, Getting marble white. dont hate lol i like white phones. I was debating whether to get the one X or this, is till hav,nt tried them both in store, but i will this friday! But im leaning towards the galaxy s3! :)
smartboy158: at&t :)
smartboy158: Will the at&t have that?! 2gb of rams! is,nt that the first phone with 2gb ram! what is ram for anyway? :O
Victor Figueroa: From what carrier are you buying your Samsung Galaxy S III?
PhoneBuff: While it will definitely use up some RAM, I doubt S-Voice will take up one gig cause the international version only has 1 GB and is still super fast.. Of course it has the Exynos but still.
Daniel Cole: Heard that one gb of ram is used up for the s voice feature so it may not be any different than the htc lte 4g or the other s 3 models.
cochsasuke1543: are both colors coming out on june 21 or is the blue one coming out first
pblockification: yeah i hope so to. I really want to pick one up, as i haven't heard anything to indicate anything better. the pebble blue is the only way to go btw....
MrJohnnyhye: All phone makers are having to do this for lte compatibility so dont only blame samsung
Kevin Parker: @PhoneBuff the reason I no longer get white phones is dark hides dirt better. On my 4S it would get dirt by the screen and drive me crazy. The htc one x had reports of the white phone turning blue while in jean pockets. If you look back on quality control issues with phones based on color (iPhone and android) its always the white phone that has issues. NOW...leith that said....you can always buy a white case or white back and use an ivisor or similar screen protector and make your dark phon
PhoneBuff: I can't decide between the pebble blue and marble white SGS3... I heard that the pebble blue attracts or shows more fingerprints but I put a case on my phones anyways so I don't know. I guess I'll just make my decision when I see them at the store..
Kevin Parker: I can't wait to get mine! As soon as its in stock at my local AT&T I'm grabbing a pebble blue :)
PhoneBuff: I really hope so... I've never used a phone with 2 GB's so I can't wait to test it and see what it can do.
zuumbafoo: the 2 gigs of RAM should make up for the quad core international version. you probably will not even notice the difference
sant1to: @Maikell33016 there's nothing substantially different. The international version can handle games and media a little better that's about it, one of the drawbacks of 4 cores is battery life. The dual core is a very capable processor and the fact that we're getting 2gigs of RAM means that the phone should operate just as smooth if not a little smoother.
Singinfeller: gettin' it... was going to get the evo 4g late but the 2gb of ram made up mind for me... Also just like samsunds dark theme and UI better... Oh yea...
MRiTRICKSH0T: June 21!
richardb2837: Sprint :D
momkailyntyler26: LG optimus
beerndumplings: at least you'll get more battery, that's a good trade-off besides you are getting 2G ram
maikel33016: Man this suks big time I think we r going to have to wait for the us dual core version to come out and see how it compares to the 4core one I think the 4core one is going to kill it big time.
PhoneBuff: It would work so long as it is unlocked, but not on T-Mobiles 4G HSPA+ network. You'd be stuck with EDGE, which you don't want to be stuck with!! Personally, I'm just going to go with the SGS3 or maybe wait for the next Nexus (i'm on T-mobile too).
maikel33016: what if order the international one? i have Tmobile will it work? wiww i get good download speeds like 7 to 10 Mbps
PhoneBuff: It is more so the fault of the carriers because they want the phone to work with their LTE 4G networks. But I seriously think that manufacturers (including Samsung) need to start offering unlocked pentaband versions of their phones (like the Galaxy Nexus) and sell it online directly maybe (again, like the Galaxy Nexus). This would take some of the frustration away from customers like yourself and I.
maikel33016: No quad core!!!!!!!!!! WTF Im starting to dislike samsung
PhoneBuff: Yeah I was surprised at how soon it is coming to the U.S. too. The SGS1 and SGS2 came out in August and September (on most carriers) in the U.S. so its nice to see it come early. But don't worry too much, the One S is an awesome phone (I have one) and has the same processor as the SGS3 anyways.
Luis Robles: Didn't know it was coming soon to USA and got the HTC One S. I love this phone but really wanted the GS3 to be honest. I fine... it is a good phone still and but the quality is much better.
