heartland96a: perhaps if you added some adjustable height spikes to the front cross member you add to the loosening effect , I agree that your unit does work as is and you have the ability to move material in both directions that's a plus.

D eez: Does a decent job but can be improved. Rig still bounces. If you lift it, you got to pack it, to make it stay flat. But you CAN"T rip up the loose dirt and rocks, level the loose material, and pack it down on the same platform BECAUSE ripping off hills to make loose material makes your whole rig bounce. Ripping off washboard hills or high rocks must be separate from leveling and packing.

Jim Marcum: can I borrow that and your four wheeler for a couple hours.

snocrushr: I was pleasantly surprised myself...Thanks for watching.

Timelapse My GoPro: Awesome. Now I need land, quad, and gravel roads... lol

sashaisme: This is strangely satisfying to watch. I was just lookin' for ideas on leveling out my backyard and found my way here.

specialks1953: Simple and very effective.

Chip Wright: Wow, that works great. I was thinking of making something like that. I have enough free steel to do it too. I love simple designs and solutions. Many great ideas here on youtube! Thanks.

penn707: Very nice and simple design

handyreis: That's cool how something so simple works so well. Good job.

snocrushr: @xexorz Will do, but that won't be till next summer.

snocrushr: Thanks for stopping by.

homeshadowpurple: So how far does the blade stick out the bottom or is it flush with the skids?

40ozFood: This easily weighs about 250 lbs don't under estimate the weight of steel

Steve Bryant: Vurry nice, vurry nice. Recun I need to geT some steel for the side and a blade and I'M ALL SET. THANKD

PEGCITYRACER: makes me wish I still had a drive way lol

xyamaboyx: Looks good now I just need steel

jake mo: great video

HateGovernment: Drag a rug behind the skid for best results.

snocrushr: It sticks out about 1/2 inch below the skids.

George Viaud: That looks like it worked GREAT! I'm moving west soon and am planning on property. This is one of those things I keep thinking about needing to build. I like your design! Please post another video if you modify it

BrokenRRT: A section of Chain-link fence after the blade will smooth out any ruts made by larger rocks or the rails. I have 5 acres of sandy rocky land in northern AZ that I drag with a similar idea as this. The chain-link really improved my results. Great video... nice job!

Bob Tadlock: Nice job snocrushr . The secret is to make it loooong like you did , that way it cuts the high spots and fills the low ones . A short drag just follows the contour of the land and doesnt level very well . Been there , done that . Free from junk is always good too :) To buy one of those things is hundreds of dollars if not several grand . Maybe later when you weld on some wheels , you could add a rack to throw some concrete blocks or scrap on for a bit more weight .

snocrushr: Thanks for watchin'

smith45acp: I love homemade crap like this that works
