joey p: Love your flag at the end brother... that's why I'm moving OUT of
Connecticut and to VT and FLA... - Liberals suck
allen sharako: I laughed at "now you just gotta figure out its a pistol" I love this guy
such a great little video too, I subscribed.
jrobers33: Agree with Ronal Cash - very insightful.
Random Vids: "Now you have to figure it out on your own if it is a pistol" LOL!
Pandora Leigh: I'm a lefty and my wife is a righty so the ambidextrous features are
perfect for us. I thought this was a much more comfortable than the 22/45.
Ronald Cash: love your video's very insightful!!!
James Aldridge: Im getting one thanks, kind of sucks trying to get that 22 ammo try to save
what I have till I can get more.
apocolips18: Thank you for the video!
Gunblastdotcom: Yes. From a pistol barrel, most all standard-velocity 22 Long Rifle ammo is
bob j: For just supressor or complete setup?
Gunblastdotcom: I apologize for the delay in answering. I have been away at a gun show in
Tulsa, Oklahoma. The 22 is not ideal for defense, but will serve the
spikedpsycho: "Tyranny is defined as that which is legal for the government but illegal
for the citizenry" -Thomas Jefferson.
James Sue: Nice pistol and that suppressor was superb. The steel ringing was twice as
loud as the round being fired. Impressive. Thanks for the review.
Randy Rodriguez: Very cool, but I think Ill go 22/45 if I go suppressed 22. I like my SR22
being small and lightweight.
Conor Stewart Paterson: I've been reading a lot of confusing forums online and I was just wondering
what's the legality on owning a pistol with a threaded barrel.
george sanchez: Thanks jeff
JediNachos: Great video. Thanks!
Eye needa: I paid my extortion fee Feb 2012, also had to get a Fed fingerprint card
,cost $40.00, even though already had CCW, got my stamp Sept 2012. Im
buying all the thread barrel 22's in sight! Just got the 10/22 Takedown
threaded (I'm in love). Great reviews as always , keep em comin!
Gunblastdotcom: I would just buy another SR22 with the threaded barrel. That is what I did.
Gunblastdotcom: MSRP is $439 US.
Jay Paulino: do you need to have a gun license like you would a regular pistol to have
one of these?
RaftGuidePhil: Thanks Jeff
Gunblastdotcom: Thank you, sir. I like dulcimers, and can play one, but I don't own one.
john smith: Good review, Gunblastdotcom. A suppressor is a nice thing to have on any
RaftGuidePhil: Jeff what are your Thoughts on carrying this pistol for self-defense? I'm a
very cash strapped river guide here in Tennessee. Long story short had to
sell my Glock 19 Which was my main defensive pistol and all I have now is
moron32: Where can I buy one cheaper than MSRP?
Gunblastdotcom: For the 22, I recommend the Ruger SR-22. Also, the Glock is an excellent
choice for a left-handed shooter. Activate the magazine release with your
trigger finger. It is easier than using the thumb. I do not switch the mag
release on pistols, even when i can. jeff
Gunblastdotcom: Sorry, I don't know the laws up there. Contact a CT dealer, it's their
business to know such things.
1guyin10: Ruger sure is hard on my bank account. They just keep making guns that have
to go on my list.
BulletShogun: me want/ me not want to wait for aft form
cstarr3: Does anyone else have "Have a beard like Jeff Quinn's beard" on their
Bob Stubs: Buddy got one last week. Key holing rounds out of box... And accuracy was
non existent. Must have had bad rifling. Shop exchanged it for Ruger 22/45
Gunblastdotcom: That's the SRM 1216. We have a review in our ARCHIVE section, and a video
here on YouTube. Boge
johnny wadd: Good review, I am glad they finally came out with threaded barrel.
xojeffroxo: thanks jeff I just bought sr22 5/25/13 I like it only thing I don't
understand is why is the safty up for fire down for safe any reason for
this ? thank you
JW's BulletsNBlades: great pistol
EddieMaine: And I'm totally getting a TacSol suppressor. I like the idea of great
products being made in the same place I live.
Mikey6048: WTF is the shotgun at :10? lol
COZMO D: how much is it
tang0m0m: Like the fact that you use the Ruger locks for your gates...must be good
Gunblastdotcom: I do not know the various local and state laws, but there are no federal
laws that prevent one from owned a threaded barrel. jeff
mohammedtigertank: I think I want to buy one .. I like small pistols mines m1911 colt
Jay Paulino: i live in CT and law here says you need to be 21 to get a license to buy a
gun, so that means i need to have one?
carolinaridgerat: is there any way ruger will sell the sr 22 threaded barrels for those of us
who already bought the pistol? i can't find them .... just the barrels that
Gunblastdotcom: For the whole thing. TacSol's Cascade suppressors are quite affordable.
cazy: I love that barrel, nice and flush when no can.
aksuperhero: That would make a sweet little critter buster.
Gunblastdotcom: So far, Ruger is not offering the threaded barrel as an accessory. When I
inquired about that a couple of months ago, I was told that i would have to
send my gun in to have the barrel fitted. Jeff
TheHiddenPart: this is probably the end for the P22 / Mosquito series of pistols. What the
Ruger lacked is just a threade barrel, having already quality craftmanship
and superior materials already covered. Now, there's not much to discuss
