RAM ROD: You have to do all this crap, just to replace a friggin bulb in a car.
Rick Dolishny: Thank you for doing this video. That headlight assembly is very hard to get out and even harder to get back in. If I didn't see you force it I would have probably taken my Elantra without the headlights back to the dealer and paid for an installation.
A very, very tight fit indeed! But after 'snapping' them back in, no problem whatsoever. Thanks again.
locoboof: Not sure if I replied....but I show the info in the video
locoboof: I'm not sure
locoboof: Not sure
locoboof: Thanks!! Hey,that's a great idea! :)
pinoyeh: Great video and very clear explanation. I have a similar chinese made balast, one thing I did for the ballast is to unscrew the nickle plated knurled knob and fill the void with silicone sealant just to prevent moisture from entering the ballast.
locoboof: Regardless you'll have the issue because it draws too much power ... There's a switch to the the DRL on or off
locoboof: :) lol
Shawn King: Great job player!!! Thanks
SSSSSSandman: Is there a way to disable the DRL? That was step 1 in my Subaru HID installation kit. This would avoid issue's mentioned at the end of the video.
Megaw767: great video, i have same car but 2011. looking forward to seeing more do-it-yourself videos!!
John Popeye: The little pink line near the bulb I have cracked. Just the pink line though. Would it still work?
locoboof: Did you insta a relay kit like I said to do?
Austin S: Did you have any issues with your Daylight Running Lights (DRL)? I have a 2013 Hyundai Elantra and installed this kit. They work when I turn the key to the On position, but as soon as the engine is started, they shut off.
DrSmansori: I'm going to buy a D2R bulb for my 2012 elantra ..
locoboof: People like you make me laugh. On eBay they sell millions of HID kits,to millions of people. Do you think everyone that that buys a kit is buying projectors? Here on YouTube type in hid kit.....and please make your same comment on all 75,000 videos that don't use projectors. 97% of people that install these don't use a kit. Plus since I'm driving I wouldn't know if I'm blinding anyone.....
Lucky Bob: you know your blinding the crap out of everyone now? these are reflector type headlights. You need projectors for HID.
locoboof: Oh...if you just watch the whole video I say and show where I bought the kit :)
