Envy Sam: Update: Finally got HIDs installed on my 2014 Elantra Limited. Was kind of a pain because they initially sent my a bad ballast and I thought I wired something wrong, but they priority shipped out a replacement for free (bought same kit as you, they have great customer service). Went with the 5000k and they match the LED light strip that's on the 2014s very nicely. Both your videos were extremely useful in getting my HIDs and relay kit installed, thanks a lot!
Envy Sam: Curious how these held up for you since this video is like 4 years old.
Caleab Losee: I clicked on your video to see how easy it would be to replace the entire headlight. Very thorough, extremely easy to follow. You are a natural teacher. Good job bud!
Chase Rodriguez: My lights on my 2013 elantra look great but after they turned on with the switch i went to turn the car off and the lights stayed on and will not turn off even when the car is off and the light switch is off. Do you know what could be happening?
Betty Black: Can you do all of this without taking the light housing off?
Edwin Acevedo: hey am looking to buy some HID but dont know what is size of the light ,like h10,h7 ect .... can you send me the like !! thanks
Johan Videomaker: Thanks bro goin to install it to my new Elantra 😁
RAM ROD: You have to do all this crap, just to replace a friggin bulb in a car.
Rick Dolishny: Thank you for doing this video. That headlight assembly is very hard to get out and even harder to get back in. If I didn't see you force it I would have probably taken my Elantra without the headlights back to the dealer and paid for an installation.
A very, very tight fit indeed! But after 'snapping' them back in, no problem whatsoever. Thanks again.
locoboof: Not sure if I replied....but I show the info in the video
locoboof: I'm not sure
locoboof: Not sure
locoboof: Thanks!! Hey,that's a great idea! :)
pinoyeh: Great video and very clear explanation. I have a similar chinese made balast, one thing I did for the ballast is to unscrew the nickle plated knurled knob and fill the void with silicone sealant just to prevent moisture from entering the ballast.
locoboof: Regardless you'll have the issue because it draws too much power ... There's a switch to the the DRL on or off
locoboof: :) lol
Shawn King: Great job player!!! Thanks
SSSSSSandman: Is there a way to disable the DRL? That was step 1 in my Subaru HID installation kit. This would avoid issue's mentioned at the end of the video.
Megaw767: great video, i have same car but 2011. looking forward to seeing more do-it-yourself videos!!
