Joe Mikos: Great video! Believe me many of us appreciate the time and effort you guys take to put out these quality videos. Thank you
jpooch00: Great vid - it convinced me that it's worth $100 or so for labor to get a pro to do this job instead of trying to muddle through it myself!!!
Scott Stocktill: Thanks 1A Auto, watched your video and changed it out in 1-1/2 hrs... I thought sure this was going to be a all day job... Thanks Again!!!
bluesman71: I buy from these great guys quite a bit. They ship fast and the products are great quality. Just saying thanks and the videos are much help when stuck on a project.
Jim Gill: I don't need to replace the Window Regulator . need to replace the window. I need to know if I have unscrew the Window Regulator plate to put window in?
Brian Spears: Thank you a ton! I just replaced both the inside and outside door handles and the window seal today. I couldn't have done it without your help! Took me about 4 hours to do the whole thing.
R Ordonez: Great Video. Made my job a lot easier. I have a 95 Suburban with a bad window motor. The only glitch I had was the I didn't have the right size rivet gun for the rivets that the kit came with. I bought one at harbor freight and done deal. Thanks
david jenson: Just for future reference, my 1999 chevy tahoe 2 door has the exact same set-up as far as these doors/panels/regulators/handles/windows go. Thanks for the help!
goaheadroll: I had to replace the drivers side door on my 1998 gmc 1500 extcab. Old door was manual, new one is power. Can I run new wire and fuse and hook the window up like that? Or do I need something that is not in the door already, like a regulator or something? What wires on the harness are for the drivers window? I am not worried about lock or mirror or anything else just the drivers side window.
Steve Franco: How can I just shut my passenger window on my 1998 Chevy Silvarado K1500 Extended cab with electric windows until I get replacement parts from you web site. Symptoms are nothing happens when I try to open or shut doors. Just got new battery replaced.
chickalanai: Thanks Guys I finally got it.
terryk717: I bought a used truck, and was told everything is good in the drivers side door for the window (ie..the regulator and motor) The guy said the piece that is on the window itself is bad, (the track?) is that replaceable?
Richard Custard: thanks A millon just happen and i got stuck
MalibuMan1979: I just want to say a big 'THANKS'. I replaced my right side door window lift channel. Got the window out fine, but when it came to putting it back together, well let's just say there were a few choice words spoken. I searched Youtube and seen your video. I did just as you instructed and it was a piece of cake. I love my 97 HD2500 and I probably will end up running her into the ground. You guys rock...
JWDouble07: Great video, saved a lot of trial and error time for me
Hallphamazing305: Fixing my Door Lock Actuator on my 99 Tahoe I drill the old broken one out do u sell the Door Lock Actuator with a replacement bolts?
1A Auto Parts: There should be a few bolts on the outside of the door, or on the inside, that hold the latch in place. You would need to remove the door panel to access it to make repairs. 1aauto.com 888-844-3393
1A Auto Parts: You could try to put some white lithium grease on the regulator channel to see if that helps to speed it up.
fitzpatrickgf: I just recently had my driver door replaced with a used one. The body shop used the existing power window regulator and motor in the used door they replaced. Now I'm having a problem with the window going back up. It goes down ok, but it stops intermitently while powering it to go back up. I have to wait 5 to 10 seconds in between each attempt to power the window up a little at a time. Would the assembly mostly need greasing first before a motor would fail on these window regulators? Thanks!
1A Auto Parts: You may be able to, but the process could be a little involved to convert it over. 1aauto.com 888-844-3393
