Leatheryed1: Pressing F2 does absolutely nothing: it just goes through it's usual
start-up. The Hiren's boot CD spins up but the machine, (a Toshiba
Satellite type C55-A5190), ignores the CD and goes right to the password
screen. No ands, ifs or buts! That's all it does. No other function key
does anything either. The machine is running Windows 8.1. How the heck is
the Hiren's CD supposed to be accessed?
Fred Koerber: Good job!
Phil Parkin: Spot on. Cheers dude.
LANETTA BAKER-GARRETT: can i use this on windows 8.1 to recovery password?

kair123: When I get to the part where it asks me to select a partition, I select
then enter, and nothing happens... It just shows me again the choices.
Could you help me??
bikerbass1977: Thanks for putting up this guide. It does seem to be an over-complicated
program. I could not work it out myself by just following the text prompts.
I think it is a case of too many options written in very technical language.
bob todd: i had to type 3 not 1 to find windows
Aviona Teoda: It works with Win 7 Enterprise 64 bit as well. THANK YOU!!!!!! A million
times THANK YOU! UR SPECIAL person to help everybody like that. : ) I am
AMAZED by this.
عثمان المنذري: Thanx for the video It was very helpful
Sarey Lay: i have a problem it won't let me go all the way to the buttom i followed
every instruction in the video by it won't take me to the part when you
enter the users name and then enter then pressed 1 i need help
Matt Bergkamp: i got to the last step were it asks to type in your admin account name, i
typed it in and it says cannot find value . pleease help me =((
Musicarta: @mbkx250 Hmm, that's an interesting one. My only thought is that the
account is a hidden admin account but that isn't very likely to be honest.
I haven't got any other ideas for this one I'm afraid. Your account should
be listed there and I'm not sure why it's not.
lucasbrown1983: I have also lost my windows seven password and I hadn’t any other admin
account than I used a reset disk from this amazing website. You can go here
: w w w r e s e t p a s s w o r d w i n d o w s c o m
George Konstantinou: Bravo uploader. Thanks very much.
QUANTUM PK: Thank you very much! :)
cheangchun: thank you. From Thailand
Musicarta: @brightsidebruches Sorry. I'm at a loss here. All I can advise is trying
another password remover. There are others on the Hiren's BootCD, if you
can work out how to use them. Sorry I could not be of more help here, but
it has never happened to me, and I simply don't know how to go about
troubleshooting this particular problem.
granmasterjedi: this is hirens 13.1 not 15.1
johnnybgood42: Didn't work for me on 2009 Toshiba Sat alight L300 running win 7 , only got
as far as the fist enter . You went to second enter , then you had More :
at the bottom , you said enter or space bar, any help ?
Musicarta: @brightsidebruches This is the information that I usually give people on
this step (when explaining in person in detail): "Offline NT Password &
Registry Editor now needs to know the exact location of the Windows
Registry. Except in the rarest of occasions, the default location will be
the correct one. Press ENTER to accept the default Windows Registry path of
Windows/System32/config." You are clearly one of those very rare occasions.
What operating system are you using?
Musicarta: @youngstunna2264 Please read the description before asking questions in the
future. Copied from description: 'If you are having trouble booting from
the CD (eg. you can't find a boot menu like in the video on your computer)
then please watch my video on How to change the Boot Order in the BIOS
here: (link in video description).' Have a great day!
Musicarta: @louquito21 Great to hear it. Thanks for commenting.
Musicarta: @TheRaversArmy No problem; I'm glad I was able to help you out!
Musicarta: @MOIMORTAL You're most welcome; it should work :)
Musicarta: @OscarSanchez310 ...Continued (comment 2): Some computers, especially those
with Windows XP or earlier, have a single operating system installed on a
single partition on a single hard drive, making this a very easy choice. If
that's the case for you, just press ENTER to accept the default partition.
Otherwise, type the number corresponding to the correct partition from the
Candidate Windows partitions found list and then press ENTER. Continued...
shprizzledizzle shpric: It works 100% for win 7, spent a lot of time searching how to remove the
psw and thanks to you i made it!! ;]
R3LL0323: After Step 1 where is says "select disk where the windows installation is",
i hit enter it says "success" but when step 2 comes it says " Debug Path:
windows not found" "Debug Path: winnt not found" and "Debug path: winnt35
not found". Then it asks me what the path to the registry directory is and
when i hit enter it says "Debug Path: windows not found". It then says
"select which part of registry to load" and i choose "password reset". Then
it takes me back to step one to do it all over again.
ShadowzTheHusky: When you log in to your computer just write down the name that it shows
when it ask's for a password, Then type that in when you use the cd
Musicarta: Usually this is because your Windows partition is not in the expected,
default location. To remedy this, try typing 2 followed by enter instead of
just enter, and see if that is the right partition. If it still doesn't
work, try the same process with 0, 1, 3, 4 and 5 until you find the right
partition; it is very likely to be 2 though, so try that if you ever get a
'Debug path: ... not found' error.
hphope: Gracias men
michaeldataful: oh men, I like p'ple like u. worked perfect. big up bro for the upload.
MICHAEL S. RUPPENTHAL: i am following your directions and right off at the first request where we
are to push enter (select disk where windows install...) I push and it does
nothing. i've tried logical options n nothing works. Am i doing something
or is something else going on. thx's
pctvonline versoes: logo postarei um video bem mai simples e mai facil ainda sem erros se
inscrevam no meu canal....
Musicarta: @martiganduxe Why thank you! I'm glad you found it useful. Thanks for
commenting and have a great day!
Onlydollars100: Duh? ! What about breaking a Mac?
