Kiwii: The Galaxy Nexus and the Nexus 4 (probably; I don't have one) don't have sdcard slots and the emulated sdcard doesn't have a separate partition but instead is just a regular folder on the internal file system. Therefore the storage can not be mounted as a usb drive but only via MTP. This works okay on Windows (it actually sucks) but on Ubuntu it doesn't work at all. So, the solution in this video looks very helpful and I will try it when I'm back on Linux.
