Did this video help you?

Matthew Booth: This was really helpful, thanks! Please get yourself a microphone, though :)

BlackSmithWolf: How do I make my microphone go into "discovery mode" it only has three buttons...

northlander: computer pairs with sony bluetooth but no sound

inscrutable67: Thanks for the tips. That are unfortunately necessary due to how crappy windows 8 is.

paleridertexas: i accidentally disabled the microphone on the recording devices tab. how do i enable it?

JerzeYxKinG: how do i know if my laptop got bluetooth i scan for devices but nothing shows up and i have my bluetooth on in my stereo and phone

DestructiveGamer: Can this work for a Ex-02 Bluetooth Device? for a Windows 8 x64 version........I need to know Asap before I download and install a Bluetooth Driver! please help me dude +Brandon Neubert

Alex Christenson: My computer does not recognize my headphones and a sound device. I can pair them, but when I go to sound options, they do not show up. Any ideas?

Alyssa Porter: It doesn't show all the options that it does on yours... it only shows Test, Show Disabled Devices, Show Connected Device, About Software, and Properties. Please help... I am having to connect remove the device and on and on. I am connected to a BOSE speaker, and I connect with it just fine on my kindle, iPad, and nook.

Yoel Buzgalo: My Windows 8.1 PC Settings doesnt show Wireless section (Where you can enable bluetooth and such)...Can you tell me where to find the bluetooth? and does all PC's come with bluetooth? and what does a bluetooth driver do?

Song Sejuani: hey what do i do if my laptop isn't reading my bluetooth device? help please i will be grateful, thank you

Zin Armagadan: So I have a bluetooth headset and Windows 8 wont pair with it. It's an urban camo PS3 headset. I know it works with other versions of Windows because I've done it before...

Lennart Raun: What about reconnecting bluetooth devices (Logitech BT adapter, win8.1), everything works fine first time, device is found, paired and connected, but when the reconnection is needed, then the device is visible as disconnected and only option there is to delete device and pair again, is there any way to reconnect device without deleting it first?

MysteryViolette: So I have a new Bluetooth headset that I recently bought. I've done everything the video told me to do, and what the book for the device told me to do- and it doesn't work. Is there any way to plug in the device, and manually add it to the computer system? They're iLive Blue, IAHB64.

Russell S.: um hey when ever it disconnects it doesnt appear in sound :/ what should i do

Anthony Navarro: helpful but please speak up

Shifa Syed: after an hour of searching FINALLY!! THANKYOU!! <3

EternallApprentace: FFS, it's about time someone helped me get over the install, uninstall, and install AGAIN hump, wow lol. Thanks man, ur right it's all pretty simple...*sigh, they just layer and cover echrything up for you to find =S This vid is as good as any Christmas/ New Years gift lmao ( no, I don't usually get gifts for new years. But awesome!)

phonix ruler: thanks dude

Denise Duron: my bluetooth devices show that they are paired, but will NOT connect and have sound. help?

Kevin Johnson: You can get to the Sounds page by right-clicking the speaker in the bottom right and selecting "Sounds" from the menu.

Patrick de los Reyes: Is that Dave's Wave on your desktop? Nice pic...

Karl Vella: Thanks for the video...really helped me and i also noticed you reply on almost every comment if not all of them kudos for that not all people give care to such things ;D

Beatapsara: Thanks for the video - I managed to connect my speaker and it worked fine for a while. Now it´s disconnected and shows up in bluetooth devices as offline (it´s on). I tried to connect it through the Sound, but the only thing showing up there is my loudspeaker...

DNAPOSIEDON: whenever i plug in my headphones it says there speakers so i unplug my speakers and it still says my headphones are speakers please help me

Oli Sagar: thanks a lot mine didnt even work without headphones but its fixed now :)

Matt Jones: Only one speaker works:(

Richard Sykes: Awesome! Thank you.

spikedublin13: Omg thank you soooo much, this was such a pain in the ass. your audio was poor but very very helpful nonetheless

love pinto: hey my laptop is windows 8 and leaves me turn the bluetooth

Derick Burton: Anyone know if I can play different applications simultaneously through different audio outputs?

Aggressive Videos: i have a speaker, bluetooth, but my computer doens't have bluetooth -.- windows 8, newest version

TheMinecraftmania30: oh and the headset is an Turtle Beach Z11 plz help! my friends cant hear me on Skype!

angryangel10: Oh thank you so much. Almost threw my speaker out the window. So annoying . One question. What if I take that same speaker to the beach and pair to my phone, how can I get Windows to connect to the speaker without uninstalling?

Jayson Blazer: it says rundll32 and I cant remove the device still SOMEONE HELP PLZZZ

Nicholas Mace: "functionality"

Kazuya Darklight: It may have already been said, but you can also get to this window by right clicking on the speaker icon in the lower right and clicking the "Playback devices" option. Sometimes even we techies make things harder than they are.

Galvezdalton: NICEE VIDEO! :D :D thanks ! :D

Imagine Flight Media House: Not a problem, Nicholas. It was driving me nuts too! This kind of thing should have been there before, but oh well. I'm glad I could help somebody out.

Master Hoe: theres is no connect, disconnect option for me only. enable disable

janusdraugur: Thanks you! This was really helpful

John Lancheros: merci, tres bon!

benmachen123: THANK YOU!!!!!! Finally a good solution.

Imagine Flight Media House: I'm not sure what problem you have, the only advice I can give you without more information is to make sure your device is turned on, bluetooth is activated, and that your device is bluetooth visible (so that other devices can "see" it). Other than that, there's not much I can tell you without knowing more about your issue.

Aadarsha karki: look even i am active bluetooth device though it says no devices found. plz give the solution.

CBayWolf16: On my Sound settings Window, when I click on my bluetooth speaker, I only see the options to "disable" or enable- not disconnect and connect. Do you know why this discrepancy would exist? I don't even see those as "grayed out" options. This is driving me crazy- the only way i can reconnect a device is to restart my computer or delete and then re-add the device.

Jayson Blazer: when I try to remove a Bluetooth device a windows pops up and says do you want to run windows host process and when I click yes nothing happens HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

DEBRAJ BHATTACHARJEE: This video is really informative. I was really facing problem in connecting and disconnecting Bluetooth speakers in Windows 8. This will really help me out. Thanks again.

Imagine Flight Media House: I tried a few of my devices, and on my HDTV, connected through HDMI, it displays the same thing, without a connect/disconnect feature, but a disable/enable feature. Using that instead of disconnect/connect worked in the same way. I repeated the test using my bluetooth speaker to the same effect. Have you already tried using the disable/enable feature, in exchange for the connect/disconnect? It seems to work in the same way. If not, it must be something with the device itself. Does that help?

AJ72Camaro: Thanks Brandon. Very helpful video. CBayWolf16 , you kind of have to do it backwards. Highlight the sound device you want to use, then set it as default. It will disconnect from the current device (external bluetooth, for example) to the device you set as the default. If you want to switch back to the external bluetooth device, just set is a the default. It's not much different than disabling a device, but seems a little easier for me.
