Mara Nolasco: Hi Monae, Thank you so much for sharing such great tips with us! You look stunning! :)
nikki1582: Hi..what inch are the babyliss iron you are using in this video
nya long: I remember you mentioned you had thin fine hair so how did you make it look to thick and full when straightened
Felecia Studimire: Would I be able to do this on my daughter hair? She is five years old and has very thick kinky and curly hair. I do her hair in the two strand twist style with scrunchies. I don't use rubber bands and I want to do a blow out on her to see how will it work.
Brandy Thompson: Hair burns at 451 degrees. High heat is necessary (in my opinion) to achieve these results with 100% natural hair especially 4b and/or c. The method used makes a huge difference as well for example the "chase" method she used with the comb. Flat ironing on CLEAN, DEEP CONDITIONED hair is also essential. With proper deep conditioning, other heat protectants are not always necessary, however, if you feel the need to use one be sure it is lightweight and apply it in moderation to damp hair prior to blow drying. I am NOT A LICENSED PROFESSIONAL, I am a STUDENT. These tips have helped me personally with my hair and clients. I have yet to experience breakage and I achieve these results EVERYTIME! I am 7 months post relaxer, 24 months post big chop with APL length hair. Hope this helps someone asking...
Jasmine Walker: If I start to sweat my hair is back curly why
JoHorror: wow! i have been looking for a way to straighten my hair w/o chemicals because i want to dye it. your hair looks so so so good! i would have never thought you did it w/o a relaxer. i think i will give this a try and try to use exact or similar products. again, just wow! thank you so much for this!
Brianna Bombshell: I love ur cut and color
Jenna IluvMb: Okay when I flat ironed my hair it becomes poofy and frizzy. First I just wash it I comb it out and then I blow dry it then I start flat ironed it and then it becomes all frizzy and poofy. It looks good the night before with only a little frizz it's just when I wake up for school it's extremely frizzy and poofy.. And plus my mom doesn't really like to put heat in my hair because it's can cause breakage and heat damage. What can I do to prevent Frizz and puffy hair? My hair isn't trained to flat irons either I haven't flat ironed it in like a year. How do I wrap it up? And what's some good products to use to stop frizz? Please reply I need an answer. thank you!
emokitty love: Your eyebrows are on point. :)
mamaswagg100: You did that!!
Nikos Artist: Isn't it dangerous for your hair to be straightened like that by "baking" them in 450 degrees? And if so, is it really worth it? Does this Hair straightening style lasts for long or not and is it easily reverted back to curly?
aisha salifu: Hi I usually put my temperature on my flat iron for 360 degrees because I do not own a heat protected (I do really want to get one just haven't had the time) nor do I own the products you used, can I still completely straighten my hair?
Ruby Puryear: What is the lip color you are wearing? Love the color!
Nohely D'Oleo: Your hair looks great! I was just wondering what products do you wash your hair with?
elizabeth biggs: nice hair look! what color & hair brand is your hair?
tinyelephant: This didn't work out for me. Do you think it's because I used different products?
Victoria Murkison: So I tried this today....my hair came out FABULOUS!! I have never had my hair this silky straight until now. I have tried it thousands of times with different products, but when I followed this tutorial.... BAM! My hair was almost to fly for my head! Thank you soo much!! Also, I LOVE your blog :)
