Dane Mitchell: Hey I need help. I dropped my samsung the other day and smashed the screan. Do I need the glass or the lcd? Im confused. The lcd wprks great still as im using it now
Emma McCorkle: I really hope this is a troll video, that phone is not going to work after this.
Mahdi Nasereddin: Thank you for the great video. I just replaced my screen with no problems
sarris mk: Noob
mc coco 22: Friend i have a question
Do you not need sticker for lcd to stick to screen?
Leebeast99: hey i have an s3 from virgin mobile are they all the same? cause im going to order a digitizer from ebay
Dimitar Berthino: I dropped my galaxy s3..the touchscreen was still working.. only the glass broken..what do u need to replace?
deflameheaps: Hey I have a straighttalk s3 and I was wondering what all model digitizers to get for my sch-s968c. I couldn't find an answer that has made any since yet. If you could help I'd appreciate it. Thank you.
Brenden Smith: Ok. Soooo, there is a problem. I wouldn't suggest this product anymore because I have had my phone fixed for about a month after a DIY job. I followed this video to the T but the screen just broke once more. I didn't even drop the phone. I placed it on the counter, and it is broken again, and now, whenever I place my phone down, IT CRACKS MORE. its terrible. I was hoping a part that was so expensive would break under a condition such as being placed on a counter.
TheFoyer13: The entire time you ripped the glass off and screen off I cringed. WTF.. why did I buy this phone.......
k orsibor: Changed the LCD and digitizer successfully but now having signal issues. Antenna is still connected. What could be the problem. Occasionally I get signal bar with an exclamation mark at the end. i am unable to make any calls.
Paul Robins: I took my galaxy s3 to a phone repair shop as the glass needed replacing (the lcd was fine as confirmed by shop before I left) I returned later to be told they put a new lcd in too (not sure why). Anyway I'm happy with it but now my wifi drops completely if I go more than a few feet away from any router. Could they have damaged the antenna? Can you advise what could have happened?
DarkShadow446: what is that pick actually called?
Hunter Wolfe: My S3' digitizer is still just fine, so the touchscreen responds great, what I am up against is a weird discoloration and faded look, camera, mike all good. But I went and got the LCD and digitizer together, and working up the courage to do it tomorrow. If the digitizer is still ok that I take off of the phone and of course the other parts I've mentioned are ok, should I keep them around or chuck them. Speaking on that too, since I have 2 extra USB frames, should I head off having to open the poor again and just put a new one in just for giggles, since they tend to go south eventually. Sorry for the long post but you know what you are doing. (P.S. it's not my first repair, but IS my first LCD/Digitizer repair)Thanks!
Brenden Smith: So here is the story. My mom bought me a new screen for my cellphone. And I tried to replace it. But BROKE the LCD and DIGITIZER! it was terrible. I ordered the set off of the phone doctors and it made it to my house in about two days. Maybe three. This video helped me fix my phone and this is a reliable store. Thank you phone doctors for helping me fix my broken phone!
m lackey: GREAT VIDEO..........WELL WORTH THE WATCH......YES, YOU CAN DO THIS!!
What a great tutorial......Ok....3 weeks ago I dropped my good and faithful friend, read Samsung Galaxy 3.....yep once too many times....broke.....the screen went black, the whole thing. I'm in small business and my 'phone' (communicator) held more than 1,300 'contacts' along with pictures, business text messages and so on, you know.
I found a place that replaced the (what I now know as the) digitizer for $180.00 in about 30 min. ......three weeks later.....'opps'....yep.....fricking thing broke again!
Just didn't want to get up off of the $180.00 again and kind of thought if the 'other guys' could do 'the job' in about 30 min. maybe I could learn to do it too.
This youtube posting let me know that, 'Yes' I could. ........bottom line, ordered a new 'digitizer' picked up $7.00 in tools, 30 min. later (had to stop and go back on the video a few times as I sat and did the repair) I had a completely restored, working device.....too cool.....this is an out standing, simple to understand, no nonsense, real deal video.
Well worth the watch....add a liberal dose of patience (for the/a novice like me) and you can save tons of time, more than a 'few' bucks and have your device literally 'like new'
Anon Achilles (iQuebe): Cant you remove the screen without cracking it
