Anon Achilles: Cant you remove the screen without cracking it
Paul Robins: I took my galaxy s3 to a phone repair shop as the glass needed replacing
(the lcd was fine as confirmed by shop before I left) I returned later to
be told they put a new lcd in too (not sure why). Anyway I'm happy with it
but now my wifi drops completely if I go more than a few feet away from any
router. Could they have damaged the antenna? Can you advise what could have
Hunter Wolfe: My S3' digitizer is still just fine, so the touchscreen responds great,
what I am up against is a weird discoloration and faded look, camera, mike
all good. But I went and got the LCD and digitizer together, and working up
the courage to do it tomorrow. If the digitizer is still ok that I take off
of the phone and of course the other parts I've mentioned are ok, should I
keep them around or chuck them. Speaking on that too, since I have 2 extra
USB frames, should I head off having to open the poor again and just put a
new one in just for giggles, since they tend to go south eventually. Sorry
for the long post but you know what you are doing. (P.S. it's not my first
repair, but IS my first LCD/Digitizer repair)Thanks!
Justin Tanner: how do you replace just the screen (not the LCD) with out breaking the LCD.
Your video does not show how to disconnect the screen. As a result I have
now busted my LCD because you said only the S2 have the connect. It would
have been nice to know that you should buy the whole LCD and digitizer to
replace just the digitizer. Now I have to buy the whole thing. I have a
screen but still will need to buy the LCD/digitizer already together. Do
you sell that and can u send it to me before February?
Brenden Smith: So here is the story. My mom bought me a new screen for my cellphone. And I
tried to replace it. But BROKE the LCD and DIGITIZER! it was terrible. I
ordered the set off of the phone doctors and it made it to my house in
about two days. Maybe three. This video helped me fix my phone and this is
a reliable store. Thank you phone doctors for helping me fix my broken
Alex Rodriguez: Quick question! I cracked my phones LCD (As in the screen itself wouldn't
display anything, it's all black) yet it was still touch responsive. The
repair for that would've cost me $150. I dropped it again, and now I can't
touch the screen at all. (which i did to pick up calls). Is the repair
still going to cost me 150, or will I have to pay more to get it to be able
to be touch responsive, along with the LCD repair? How much would that cost
me all together?
Bryan Max: Hey allan me n my buddy just changed the frame and screen from a broken
white to the new black. We tested out the digitizer before putting the
screen back on and it unresponsive. It turns on and everything the buttons
work. It just doesnt respond to the touch.. what do you think it could be?
Shuang Gao: Good to see one crappier screen be replaced. It looks doable!
Mitchell Simmons: Good video. Just started in this business with 30+ years experience in the
electronic repair field. I was impressed mainly with the neatness of your
work area. The adhesive is a real pain as I can see. You have no problem
with using the metal scraper? The tools that come with the screen
replacements are junk as with you I purchased my own. Do you think using
isopropyl (91%) alcohol would be a good solution to remove all the old
dancoy09: my screen is blank but phone is working and screen is not broken i guessing
i need to replace the digitizer how much are they usually to buy ? like wht
is a good price for one?
Allen Jones: Ok, so i have a galaxy s3 model SCH-1535 and the screen is cracked. Lcd
still lights up but the touch capabilities don't work. Could I just replace
the glass and use adhesive and a uv set up to fix it? or would I need a new
lcd in order to get the touch to work?
siedlikmasterek: I was looking for Digitizer replacement, not freaking whole whole lcd.
But if you replace lcd, its easier, faster to just get the whole LCD with
GpotB AKAmop: Hi I broke my screen and different colors started showing up and touch is
not responding I want to know wants wrong plz and want should I fix and buy
from u guys.
frances tabanas: I have a question. If your phone's touchscreen isn't working, what is
needed to be replaced? the digitizer? lcd? or what? please help :(
also, can I just take another screen from another phone so the touchscreen
can work again?
Ken H: I have been given, to fix a Samsung S3 Model No GT19300 I have followed
your video screw by screw, but when I came to remove the old lcd plate I
found a cable running from around the home button area up the right side of
the casing and attached somehow at the top of the phone as a black strip??,
what can I do and have you a video to get me going again. as this is my
first go at a phone repair I am in need of a bit of help if possible
ManifoldSky: And… yet another video that claims to show replacing the digitizer but does
not show any such thing.
Digiziter ≠ LCD assembly.
fatah bedier: youre the beat man thank you very much. I went to a rpair shop and the guy
said he cannot do it. and you showed me how to do it. I am so greatful man
keep it up
frances tabanas: which part of the s3 is broken if the touchscreen isn't working? is it the
digitizer? lcd? please help :(
Bryan Max: Im sorry that question was for the phone docter guy :)
Tori Marna'e: +PhoneDoctors your video is great. I wasn't sure if I cld call and ask this
but my top/outer screen is moderately cracked. The phone still turns on and
off, the buttons still work and I can message ppl just fine (I am using the
phone to msg you as we speak.) The screen was cracked once with an X shape
split at the top then shortly after, dropped and cracked from the bottom
right corner (abt 3 wks ago). With all this being said, would I still need
to purchase a screen w/ digitizer?? If Not, what do I need & is there a
different way to apply it??
1blisslife: I guess he tried, but what if I don't want to break my perfectly working
amoled screen? I just needed to change the digitizer only!
Bill Meacham: oops, guess I won't be following this video to get my digitizer out
MintJustin: Is this a proper gorilla glass and amoled panel?
Stephen Cadden: This is a terrible tutorial. If you follow this example you may end up
damaging your display. You'd be better off with a hammer!
DarkShadow446: what is that pick actually called?
JayRay00: There's no adhesive around the border... not very good. The LCD assembly
doesn't come with adhesive around the border, only the back of the actual
LCD, not the back of the glass.
KILLERONROAD: Misleading title, it should be "screen + digitizer" replacement...
MSWindowsinside: For some reason it's impossible to get the antenna into the socket
Jim n Kristy Storm: This is the scariest video I have ever watched. haha
Vivian Caldera: When doing this will it delete any pictures or videos that was on the
Helena Czubernat: Ok it worked, sort of... my screen is on and functioning, the home and back
buttons work BUT I can't enter my password so I am assuming my touch screen
isn't working - how can I solve this? Is it an alignment issue? thanks
Trish K: I have some cracks on my s3.... looking to replace just the lens... but how
do I know if I need the digitizer and / or the lcd? Or do you always need
to replace the digitizer / lcd if you are replacing the lens?
Linda Cerny: After watching the video I was confident enough to fix my phone myself,
however after ordering the part from phone doctors and replacing the
digitizer the phone did not work correctly. The screen freezes, the back
button sometimes works and the touch screen only works part of the
Phyoomz: oh the savagery! I love it!
Hardcorefilms: What's the blue flap sticking out the top? Can I get rid of it?
TheBrewdonkey: I've now gone through two digitizers thanks to my kids and your website has
provided the most clear and concise instructions for replacing it. I'm now
2 for 2 thanks to you guys. Great work!!!!
Ivan Almonte: Will it be possible to transfer my circuit board to another phone frame
with a working LCD digitizer?
Michail Waggoner: I'm sorry but your screen removing skills suck my screen was destroyed to
the fullest and I d it it all with a damn box cutter and you had proper
tools and made more noise and mess then I did with one tool a damn box
cutter at that yalls need to revaluation your employees and their skills
cause as of now I am not trusting anyone in that company and if a friend
brings it up I'm gonna tell them don't follow your instructions.
Ameer Faithullah: thank you sir!
Johnny Ceja: How careful do I have to be when replacing the LCD? Is there anything I can
break beyond the broken LCD if I am not careful?
Doug Schweihofer: i did this and it ripped out my home button and my ear phone mesh thing
K-troma DaDon: Pure genius
David Sor: nice video awesome it helped me a lot with my broken ass LCD!!!!
Dee Babajee: Hi all, my Samsung s3 fell and the screen is not working anymore, I don't
know whether the LCD is shattered or it's another proble,.. whats the best
way to fix it? :(
Ruben Chavez: just got done putting this on my GS3, Everything works fine EXCEPT the
capacitive home and back button do not work. I will be contacting them
tomorrow to ask for a replacement. Seems to be defective unit
MP112791: Just bought this this. I hope when it comes to me all goes well =/
Julian Torres: Is there any way possible to replace just the digitizer alone? My LCD
screen is working perfectly except the touchscreen stopped working last
night after the camera failed at taking a picture.
Cameron Chauvaux: Capacitive buttons are included in the lcd/digitizer replacement? When I
was disassembling my friends s3 I noticed I had to rip off the capacitive
buttons part as well.
Henry Seddon: No mention of the front camera??
