Vinny Chiappa: Thank you so much for putting up this video. I had to change my alternator on my 2002 Tahoe and was trying to decide if I should try this myself or let a mechanic do it for 150 dollars. Mind you, I've never changed an alternator in my life and it was 12 degrees and windy outside so I had to be absolutely sure I could pull this off. After watching your video I was completely confident. Everything went perfectly and took me about 45 minutes. Probably would have been quicker but I kept running back in my house to get warm. Thanks again!
azsako: Hello, I have a 2001 suburban. Replaced alternator because the old one went out. The new one doesn't start charging (11.64 volts) till about ten to twenty seconds after starting the motor. then it charges at (14.87 volts) why the delay to start charging. also this only happens when it sits for several hours. Otherwise it starts charging right from the start of the motor? any comments or help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you..
