Ralph Salmon: Some guys still don't get it I dont want to talk crap about a 12 yrs old truck, I'm a cert. diesel tech and owned a 6.7L I spend so much money to get that thing tune nice, the turbo went out at 29k miles I had to take it to a different dealer one who had a diesel tech, guy was lost I had to help trouble shoot no BS, then the CAT went then heater element , then two sensors. The trouble with these trucks is the amount of carbon build up from the crapy diesel sold in the US. it glazes all parts.
ZACH MASTERDADDY: i liked the 5.9l better than the 6.7l just because you can do so much more with it, on the cheap but at least 6.7l has a lower torque than ford and especially chevy with there high reving POS
mstep3: i haven't heard very good things from the owners of the new 6.7l.....they all say they spend a lot of time in the shop......do they really have that many problems compared to the 5.9l.
