rogerlee111: Great video, I was curious if you had a video on replacing the stub shaft? I've been searching the Internet without any luck. If you yourself don't have a video maybe you can point me in the right direction. Thanks.
Kenneth Marion: what happened to the hub replacement for this vehicle
Morrall Blake: Is this the same process for a 2012 Dodge Ram 1500 Sport?
Tim T: Your videos are great but do you have a ball joint video? Upper and lower?
StraightRavAge: Btw, mine is a 2013 ram
StraightRavAge: Do you know if the procedures are the same for the 4th gen rams as well?? Thanks for any help!
Mitch Phillips: I was able to remove the axle using your method but I am unable to put a new axle back in. I can't seem to get it to compress down enough, almost need another 1/4 inch. Any ideas?
thomasmovesinc: How much did this cost you
Chris Sarracino: Will this work for a 06 Durango AWD?
Anthony Tislau: You didn't have to pop the ball joint to get the axle in and out??
Rob Lienhart: i cant get my cv shaft to push through my hub. any tricks you might have. i have beaten on it with a sledge and it wont budge. 2004 1500 4x4
newmanman41: My makes sound whenever I make sharp turns could this be it
Jose Leos: Is the driver side the same is the right side?
1A Auto Parts: Normally you need a special to get the seals in and out. They do sit within the axle case to prevent leaks from the inside out.
tenobles: I have a 2002 ram 1500 4x4.... my axle seals ( where the cv axles are inserted into the main axle tube/ diff.) need to be replaced. I have the seals, and have searched every corner of the web hoping to find someone who has tackled this task.... to no avail.... the dealership told me that the front carrier has to be removed and a special tool was needed to remove the seals from inside the axle... but are reinstalled from the outside of course... makes no sense to me.....
oASSAULTo: you should have videos for BMWs!!
1A Auto Parts: It should come free like shown in this video. 1aauto.com 888-844-3393
inktoxicated: i had shop change front cv's but on the front passenger side the cv pulled out with the stub axle/bearing? stuck to it? is that normal?
78kitty: @Karl Daigle THANK YOU so much for posting the tip to seperate the upper ball joint! With this video & your tip I was finally able to remove the CV axle on a '04 Durango that was seized so tight I broke a 3-jaw puller, bent the screw on another & even used MAP torch on & it still wouldn't pop loose! Now I finally have room to get at the lower ball joint I need to replace.
1A Auto Parts: We currently do not have an auto repair video that shows this particular repair.
