Ruben Mendes: if I do this, will say that someone is sitting? or is empty?
Amarouch Lamrini: I have 3 cables on my w212.
White: data cable
Where do I need to put the 2 cables of the bypass?
MrDnLegacy: So I have done this to my 2003 E60 530d and had the fault codes wiped all
good, Still need to make 100% sure the airbags pretentioners etc will work
correctly as with this set up my car now thinks the passenger seat is
always empty :-/
BARGAIN YARD: I have a 2006 325i bmw with 3 wires under the seat do the application with
the diode and the 2 100ohm resister solve the airbag fault light?
Rodrigo mora: Thanks for sharing your experience.
Building the bypass but the light persists can help me giving me another tip
Thanks Rodrigo Costa Rica .e46 99
Ibrahim MM: hello I have a bmw 118d , and seat belt and airbag indicator light is
always on, the car model is 2006, what can I do without go to the garage?
Daniel Genov: This procedure fixed my problem. After reset of the SRS the light of the
airbag went off. I am very grateful for the video! By the way, I used
IN4007 Diode instead of IN4001, because the dealer told me they are the
same. I am from Bulgaria :)
kifahalnajjar: blue wire is volts
and white wire is ground or signal
FLACguy: Will this fix also work on a US spec'd X3 2005? Mine developed that same
fault about a month ago and I'm willing to bypass the sensor myself instead
of loosing a day at BMW's service shop.
Muhammed sohaib: Wonderful 2 good
yanko yankov: Could you give as for bmw e60 2004 year please ?
Ibrahim MM: hi , i have 3 cables on my E87

richard s: Hi what was the response for the 3 wires I have a bmw mini cooper
George Berling: I did exactly what you said and it kinda works... The airbag light turns
off after 2 min of driving. I was wondering if there is anything you can do
for it to turn off right away?
mexusbg: I didn't needed a reset tool after using this bypass (E46 318is). Just
connected the diode and two resistors and the red light on the dashboard is
megatron851: I have the same three wire setup on 2006 750 E65. Did you ever get an
answer to this question?
Dino Calderon: someone already asked this quetion but i see no answer so I will try and
ask it again. After installing this bypass will it automatically turn the
airbag light off or will we need the reset tool to turn it off ?
japemw: Hello there! I make this connection. Error dissapeared after clearing the
error memory. But then I check with INPA livedata from airbagsystem and it
tells that nobody sits on the passenger seat. I think that the passenger
airbag does not work with this connection.
Edmond hgaquest: I TRIEDTHE SAME THING ON MY 2001 BMW X5 BY FOLLOWING THE SAME (100ohm
RESISTOR, THEY ARE A LITTLE SMALL BUT THE SAME CAPACITY.AND THE DIODE WITH
THE COLORED SILVER GOES TO THE BLUE WIRE, BUT IT DOESN'T WORK ALL. I ALSO
HAVE THE PEAK SR5 16 PIN TOOL TO CLEAR THE CODE, BUT THE AIR BAG LIGHT
COMES RIGHT BACK LESS THAN A SECOND. ANY HELP???
Thalia Baptiste: yes i do, my name is Richard, i have 520I 5 series e39. email
firstname.lastname@example.org 1868 343-5239
Joe Creed: you can buy a ready made plug from ebay, £6 and you literally plug it
BoogityBoogityBoo: do I need the reset tool to turn off the light after installing the bypass?
or will installing actually turn off light?
vehix411: you need seat emulator
evethang: Vehix411, my seat does not have a blue/white wire nor a black box. Mine has
3 wires coming from the seat sensor and plugging into another wire which
goes to a yellow unit under the seat towards the front. Please help as I do
need a bypass for this one. Thank you.
TheOneHawk: Will the same method work for 2004 330xi
peter considine: Worked a treat for my 318 I. Cheers bud
TheyLive WeSleep: if that even happens:, someone would have asked him the question already.
86netsniper: Does it make any difference which side the resistor is/are facing when
connected to the diode?? Thanks.
thainosz: It's serve also to 318TI E36 M44 1997?
carloschickos: I have a 630i 2005, dunno whats causing the lights to stay on, but got air
bag Red and seat restrainer warning , will this do the job?
Adil Akrouh: hi, please how i can make a bypass for BMW 3 SERIES with 3 wires
bmwnasher: Had a diagnostic done it said seat occupancy mat. fitted this had the light
knocked out and after 4 day the light is back up?
Karamveer Dhaliwal: What about the seat belt chime..do u have to keep the passenger seat belt

christof impreza: what do i need for a bmw 530d e60 2004 ??? it's 2 wired ...
77AD77: i had these two lights on is there any fault in seat passenger or airbags i
have series 5 2006.
georgec83: if i used Resistors 820 Ohm will this work?
Adi Satrio: i have the same problem with my E46 318i, i have 2 pcs 100 ohm resistor,
but i only have a IN4004 diode, can it work?
Cory Malagise: Is there a fix for an e90 bmw. I have a 2006 which means I have three
wires, not two. Bought a bypass on ebay and my car didn't chime, meaning it
didn't think someone was in the seat, meaning it didn't work. any ways to
make my own?
markhelllen: Brilliant. Had to get the light reset but this worked total cost 90c..
Thanks for putting this up. God Bless You!
TheciROCBoyz: Will it work for the driver side?
Edmond hgaquest: ALSO, THE PEAK 16 PIN TOOL REVEALED TWO CODES: (03 & 05) I SEE THERE ARE
MANY OTHER DESCRIPTIONS DESCRIBED BY THE SAME CODES. SO I GOT CONFUSED ON
THAT AND DO NOT KNOW WHAT DO THEY MEAN?
Svillen Atanassov: gotta be kidding me :D
vehix411: Sometimes it reset automatically sometimes you need the tool to do that i
just did a car last week and it turn off automatically
Sammywammy858: Awesome. Works great. Thanks a lot. The mechanic said I need a new seat.
$2.67 in parts. Radio shack. 10 min. Of my time and I finally saw that damn
light turn off. Thanks a mil
