Guille Sosa: Great foot! what's name? sorry about my english, do you change the foot or
you have an other leg withe the other foot? im talking about the one you
can regulate. thank you!
Philip A. Ellis: I'm going to be a BK amputee. My surgery is a little less than two months
away. I can use all the help I can get, especially when it comes to the
adjustable foot as I want to be able to wear my boots that have about a
2-inch heel. Any suggestions or help you can give me would be greatly
Victoria Salcedo: I NEED YOUR HELP PLEASE I FROM ECUADOR AND I NEED BUY A PROSTHETIC BUT I
DONT KNOW WHERE... :S MY DREAM IS WEAE HIGH HEELS HELP ME..
traingp7: How many guys go up to you and say how awesome your tattoo is on your leg
when your wearing a dress or shorts because that's the only thing I can
focus on when your trying to show your prosthetic leg.
Juliana Brown: You are so cute. Love yer glasses and your overall fashion sense. :-)
Tomasz Kowalczyk: The Velcro idea is awesome!
ampfan: Care to show us how the Renegade foot works on your leg? Compare other feet
(borrow them from your CP?) Don't forget to take measurements of your
alignment before you swap it. ;)
Emilie Francioli: hi, i'm too amputee ot and i ask this time for foot with high heel, my
orthopediste want to put me the ossur elation feet. is this the same of
yours? (sorry for my bad english, i speek frensh normaly)
aitaix: I PREFER to drive a manual over an automatic. Automatic's are such a pain
in the ass to drive being a BK amputee!
MrDonWebb: i love the velcro idea, im def gonna do that :D
TheAcsm: Try restarting it
Zombie Dave: I just want to drive a stick shift car. Right leg below knee amputee.
S Rohde: OK that's just sexy
Zombie Dave: @Martin Devaney Any chance of you posting some videos to inspire us? My
channel shows the car I need to drive. An old 52 Chevy with the brakes and
gas floor board attached versus the drop down kind.
MrQueDog8: Learn something new every day. As an AK man it's hard to walk in "church
shoes" or business shoes. Thanks for the info. Please keep in touch.
Daniel Symes: *that your foot is gone
morris jaykayel: You look even mre sexy and beautiful in heels.Morris
SuperManiac31: Very sexy with the high heels! :-)
Matty Mc Mahon: Just a question about the foot shell you wore // Is it a copy of your right
foot, or just a stander shell that comes with the prosthetic? -M
Kenneth Liu: Those are earrings.
Sanna Tomlinson: I love you💞❤
Kenneth Liu: This is why having transtibial amputations are bad.
Nele Abels: Your cat seems to be only mildly impressed. :)
MrVin720: Hi Christina! Did they do the surgical procedure where they graft none to
bridge the tibia and finis together at the end to firm up support? I may be
going through an amputation and was wondering if you had that or heard
about it. Thanks
baslerleckerli: Hi Christina, I have three (pretty stupid) questions: 1. Would you say,
that in general you 've gotten used to the prosthetic? I mean, does it
steel feel 'foreign' to you? 2. Can you moonwalk with it? 3. Why did you go
for a black one?
AmputeeOT: I don't see why they wouldn't be available in Australia! You should ask
your prosthetist if he can get stuff from Freedom Innovations.
MrQueDog8: And the flip flop Velcro....Genius!
AmputeeOT: 1. It feels pretty normal to me. Sometimes I forget that I'm wearing it. 2.
Maybe? Never tried! 3. Because I liked the look of carbon fiber ^.^
Denise Longstaff: Awesome, I want a foot like that! Do you know if they are available in
ikonane: Explain how you mean?
UdaiTongpuTaxim: i do not have a prosthetic, but i was able to take my foot apart anyway.
have i done something wrong? it feels like i have done something wrong.
Maurizio Malavolta: maybe the feel of a "dead spot" can be achieved after a very very long walk
at sustained speed, for people that don't walk in general. The next day
your feet feel like you can start the "walk", but as soon as you try to
roll, the foot just slams on the ground and doesn't roll nicely ehehe
Anyway is interesting indeed seeing how to cope with common things by an
amputee! A friend of mine had a femur amputation after an accident, but
never wanted a prosthetic for some reason.
Pavel Tikunov: good idea about the velcro. My daughter's just started wearing AK
prosthesis, will try that to keep the heel on the pedal. :)
Martin Devaney: in oz the top of the line boots are stockman called r.m. williams they have
a 2inch heel n i had the same prob so i got a bootmaker to double the
thickness of the sole works ok
Al Pike: During my 48 years as a prosthetist is was not uncommon for prosthetists to
tell amputees they could not wear high heels shoes even though the Kinsley
High-Style foot for up to 3” high heels has been around decades. The
Hyda-Cadence knee-foot system had an adjustable foot from flat to 3” and
was around before I started.
AmputeeOT: I think this foot will help with that. I am going to try to make a bonus
video of me driving my husband's stick shift later today when he gets home!
Otherwise, my friend has a right BK and he drives his stick shift just fine
without a problem.
Martin Devaney: ye rat im same as n i drive manual cars n trucks n ride bikes no probs
KeeperOfTheGood: LOL Ive seen my daughter when she was 7 run in stilettos (yay for thrift
store finds and a love for Halloween). She's 11 now :P and misses those
shoes. She asked me "how does she wear shorts or pants with that?" And I
said "well just like everyone else but a good question is do those pants
wear out faster because of the prosthetic?" she nodded and so I ask :) Do
you wear out your clothing/shoes more/faster with the prosthetic?
Daniel Symes: Do you ever feel kinda queezy that your foot is gone, like if you have a
hang over? And do you get depressed sometimes and have a bit of a cry the
your foot is gone??
Rick Seiden: I'm with Kangarooguru. I'd love to see a video where you show off the
tattoos and piercings you can share.
Faye Ilsley: I totally didn't know prosthetic feet had a gap between the toes for flip
flops. So cool! How high could you potentially go with the heels. Are there
feet which allow you to wear the enormous heels you see these days?
Madeline Ulasky: Do you go to sleep with you prosthetic
TheKangarooguru: What's in your ear?
AmputeeOT: I have another video showing this. Look up "How a definitive carbon fiber
prosthetic leg works" and you'll see. More foot reviews are on the way ^.^
Erikzzz: Hello Christina! :) A few months ago I found your channel, and want to
thank you for what you have done to show that the difficulty for anything
is in ourselves and not in an isolated incident. And you're a very
beautiful woman! Inside and outside. A big hug from Brazil of an old pirate
who was touched with your videos and your way of being. :) Bye, and keep uo
with this great job!! :)
Martin Devaney: this is your coolest vid im ringing t morra n see if i can get one . thank
you mrs ot your way cool
pantyflash: Like, even though your left leg is hosed, you seem to have your life pretty
much together. You go, girl!
AmputeeOT: Yes, you can wear high heels with a prosthetic!4.9
