Larry Baker: Thank you Very Much for this video! I was able to do this easily. The '06 Grand Marquis has 7/32" screws holding the bottom plastic under the wheel, and I did not have to remove the ignition switch. It was all real straightforward with the exception of changing the socket all the time!
Steve Cole: Awesome. Saw these instructions, they were so good, I bought the part from you guys!
Mark K: Impressive
underfasten: Thank you for this video. This immediately fixed the non working wiper problem.
STEVE Taylor: is this the same for a 2000 crown vix lx?
MBurns: Is this basically the same procedure for the 2011 Crown Vic?
Carlos A Marmol: I forgot to mention Thank you for your great easy to understand method.
Xuan Huang: Great demonstration. I have a question about the wiper. Is the wiper motor directly connected to the wiper switch via connectors and wires? Is there any socket/panel between them? I believe my motor and switch are good. What could be the problem? FYI, my car is 07 Ford Crown Vic. The wiper stopped working. Help....
Michael Noil: Question: My wipers don't work... I just replaced the wiper motor and they still arent working. The fuse are all good also. Could this wiper switch be the problem even though my signals and everything else is working normal??? Please help asap!
Robert Mackay: Thank you for this excellent demonstration/instructional video. I wouldn't have attempted it, until I saw how easy it actually is. I have an 07 Mercury GM and replaced the switch by following these steps, with one exception. I did not remove the ignition cylinder, as it was not needed for my application. It may depend on specific model, but one less step if you can get away with it.
Frank Jarman: My high beams were not working and now my headlights don't turn on. I have tail lights and markers but no head lights. I am going to start by replacing this switch.
David Cox: how do I know if its my switch or my windshield wiper motor? Wipers work on high, but only occasionally on intermittent and don't always park where they are supposed to. thanks.
1A Auto Parts: It may be a different procedure on that vehicle than what's shown in the picture. 1aauto.com 888-844-3393
rockchub: To check my fuse box. Will it be the same procedure for my 1996 crown vic or a little different
1A Auto Parts: You may want to check the fuses and bulbs first. If they all check out fine. There could be an issue with the switch. 1aauto.com 888-844-3393
rockchub: I have a 1996 ford crown victoria and my turn signals do not work. But high beams work and my wipers work on all settings, also my hazard lights work fine, but not my turn signals. Whst could the problem be?
1A Auto Parts: You may want to see if there's a loose connection or a frayed wire in the column. 1aauto.com 888-844-3393
ivan colon: 1999 lincoln town car..... problem is the turn signals didnt want to work i had to move the steering column up all the way and that fix it but now i have to move the turn signal switch up and down and it only work some times do i have to replace the switch?...and i move the steering column to hard now the miles in the dash are flickering if i hit the dash it fix the miles for a couple of seconds
Brian Lindsey: The dimmer and turn signals seem to work fine.
1A Auto Parts: It could be that the switch is heating up and causing them to stop. You may want to take a look at it. 1aauto.com 888-844-3393
