dxdy1973: i told before, make this tut year ago and no mater which ICS ROM for SD is used but now is better to use Native SD ROM's... and this tutorial not good for this... all this you have on XDA forum (tutorials and ROM's)
alanjoro: Hi dxdy1973,
I was able to follow your instructions till I reached the part where you copy the ICS folder to the SD card. From where can I download ICS. Your ICS folder is more than 700 MB while everywhere I search I get ICS not more than 300 MB. Thanks.
dxdy1973: i not told nothing about WM6 and not necessary.... if you loose android when boot WP7 maybe you not finish step when make hard reset... WP always delete all from SD when make hard reset... and again: this tutorial is for old non NativeSD versions of Android ROM's
small advice for NativeSD ROM's: use 4EXTRecovery za SD to install android Native SD ROM from zip file
also read tutorials from XDA forum
here is all links: just remove () and leave .
echardcore: Is it 100% necessary to start with WM 6? Im coming from Android NAND. I've tried this so many times and I can always boot into WP 7 and then perform all the partition steps. I can boot into Android one time. After I boot into WP 7 one time, Android is gone. "SD kernel open failed," is the error I get in MAGLDR after selecting "Boot AD SD." What the heck am I doing wrong. I'm about to break something! Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.
Vincent Jih: When I extract NativeSD ROM, there are 4 folders (kernel, META-INF, mods, sdcard, system) only. When I start the phone to Magldr, select 2.2. Boot AD SD. The phone shows Load zImage , K:/ICS/zImage , SD kernel open failed.
dxdy1973: new ROM's for Native SD not working with this method.... i make this video when Native SD ROM not exists...
Vincent Jih: Hello, can you tell me what files should be in the ICS folder? I extract NexusHD2-JellyBean-CM10_V1.3a, and there are 7 folders , so I copy the ICS folder (7 sub-folders inside) to SD Card, and start the phone to Magldr, select 2.2. Boot AD SD. But the phone shows Load zImage , K:/ICS/zImage , SD kernel open failed. Can you tell me what files should be in the ICS folder? Thanks! :)
dxdy1973: this not error.. just continue to next step
sievert piet: if i install windows i get missing readme. please help me !
dxdy1973: also you can try older version EvoHd2IcsV9x.7z (just google it)
dxdy1973: when you unzip EvoHD2v10 did you copy all folders to SD? not only ICS folder...
Habemus Gala: i put EvoHd2v10final-fixedx but the phone give me the same problem: "karnel open failed", i 'm desperate and i don't know how to solve the problem..
dxdy1973: then something missing in this package... try this one from XDA forum: [28.Okt.2012][All in One] EvoHD2v10 ICS 4.0.4-full HWA "Fastest ICS ever"
dxdy1973: is described in tutorial....
