Randy AB9GO: Love the repurposed wooden coat hangers. Trying to find hangers with wide ends here in the states is challenging. I'll keep looking or go with pvc pipe.

Radio Workshop: Excellent, love it! Thanks for the video. All the best from England. Cheers, Ray.

Charles Doroszlay: Your QTH ? Stations you receive i have an idea of their location.

snarfusmaximus: Excellent video. I alleviated boredom one Sunday evening a fair while ago by building a makeshift loop antenna by wrapping wire around a cardboard box and using a valve radio tuning cap. I hooked it up to my FT-817ND and could pick up AM stations as far as Sydney and Dubbo. Yep, radio is as bad there as it is here in Melbourne. ;-) Have fun! Emil - VK3NAF

Jeep Cherokee: Nice and simple. If it is a radio that I have dedicated to the loop, then I will open it up and do a 1-turn loop around the internal antenna; this provides even better gain and makes the loop even more directional.

vk3ye: Thanks Peter. As for the yard, all I did was lay some paving, paint the fence, plant a ground cover and paint a thrown out table. The biggest project has been the deck (around the other side of the L-shaped yard), featured on the 160m loop comparison video.
