Did this video help you?

arafl90: I have a problem unplug the phone, and now it turns itself says firmware upgrade encountered an issue. please select recovery mode in kies and try again...... please help me :c

Travis Clemens: Should usb debugging be enabled?? Im thunking yes but not sure... please reply

Darius J: people who are having an issue with softbricked phones use Odin v3.07. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2258628

phillip watson: To everyone having trouble, Make sure you have all the drivers installed or you will have problems. This actually works very well :-)

Daniel Mbugua: Love you man so baaad! you helped me so much Thank you!!

TheSKKrew: If i save everything on my sd and my android on my computer and root can i download all my stuff back and have everything back, just rooted now?

Glen Gilbert: on odin stuck on setup connection what to do

Food Porn Network: Well now I rooted my gingerbread thanks to you but now how do I unlock it for use with straight talk? Im currently with att but my contract is almost up, thanks! Seems like all the unlock videos and things only work for Froyo?

joseph smith: does this work with the stock 2.3.6?

Jairo Villalobos: i freaking love you man thank you your like the only person who explained this tutorial well

Meical Eroh: Following your instructions led to a wait of over 15 minutes stuck at factoryfs.rsf, and then as a bricked phone stating that it encounter an error while upgrading firmware with no way to get out of it as Kies wont recognize it and no mater which method I try to get the phone to enter different modes it still comes back to this screen

mcguiretime: Oh, I almost forgot. I also got 2.3.6 on it too...thanks to that link you sent me.

mcguiretime: subscribed!

Johnatan Vega: actually works, thnx

CREATIVE ENTERTAINMENT: Not sure how soon you will get this message but my Samsung 4G is stuck on download mode because my computer cant open or find the MD5 file....I downloaded the latest version of win zip and I cant get it to the PDA to start the loading process...I need Help!!!!!!

Craig Oetting: Just performed these steps on AT&T Samsung Infuse 2.3.6 and worked perfectly the first try. Been fighting with these "oneclick" programs for 2 days with no luck. Five minutes with this and it worked. Thank you - Thank you for posting this video.

TheJCTechHelp: Redo the process of putting the new firmware on but clear the cache and settings.

Joe Fitzgerald: I was able to do it from a stock phone.

Hakesh kumar: hello is it works for celkon

TheJCTechHelp: If you would like to figure out what this works with and/or doesn't then please consult the source link above. I am demonstrating this on a AT&T Infuse 4G. Any other carriers i can not speak for. So if you have any questions then please send to me and if i can not give you a proper answer i will direct you to the dev team of the odin and root.

Ronald Gallegos: Whenever I clicked on the "Samsung Kies Mini" link it showed two downloads. "External Mirror 1 For Samsung Captivate" and "External Mirror 1 For Samsung Vibrant" Which one am I suppose to download? PLEASE REPLY.

mcguiretime: I spoke with samsung and it sounds like I deleted or crappedd out the OS files. If I run your suggestion, is that loading up the OS for me? I thought I'd ask before I try again, thanks.

Joseph Catanzaro: thanks for the best way to root !!!

mcguiretime: Cool, Im going to give it a try. Did you see the video I made? Thats all I can see on the screen so far, and thanks for hanging in there to help me through this. If you have a dontae button I would pay you something for this help because I really need to have my phone back, its the only phone I have.

TheJCTechHelp: I just sent you a message

Kassie Haggerty: what did you do once you were told it was "bricked"? I have a feeling that's about to happen to me... :/

ziphoy: Oh my freakin' god!! Thanks holy crap. I've been trying to root my phone with super one click with no luck. Then i found out that it doesn't support gingerbread on infuse. Very well then this is easy like soc.

Vikram Desai: Hi there, i tried what u explained but my odin3 doesn't detect my phone and that first bar doesn't turn to yellow..please help

Kathleen M: A HUGE Thank You!!!!! This worked perfectly; no issues and did not make me feel like a complete noobie. I have been reading & researching & researching & reading (OCD...lol) to make sure I understood perfectly what to do....and then I found this tutorial. My only complaint...I wish I had found this earlier. Great Job!!!!!

Hr Maaz: love u buddy...have been trying to do it unsuccesfully..... with super oneclick . Thnx to u did it first time....

mcguiretime: did u have a look at the video JC?

Frankie Barrios: Nevermind got it!

explosion660: I got a little scared because it messed up the first time but I stayed calm and second try success! Thank you Sir!

TheJCTechHelp: No it dosnt

Andi Mell: Most excellent, worked like a charm. I have tried the "super one click" root and it didn't work for me. I'm not expert enough to understand why, but have a feeling that the instructions lack some pertinent detail for it to work. Great job Justin, thanks for the detailed instructions. First thing I did is use "Root Explorer to delete the AT&T racketeering app called "Tether Manager", which allows AT&T to double charge for a service, which my service provider doesn't double dip for.

ijustateurmom: how long does the download/progress bar take to appear after starting?

Michael Allender: I can download the odin but can't get the md5 file. please help.

Camilo Sarmiento: dont do this he just made me freak up my samsung infuse now i have firmware upgrade encountered an issue. please select recovery mode in kies & try again and is doesnt matter how many times i try to conect my samsung it doest do anything.

mcnugg3tslay3r: Dude your the best I'm subscribing

TheJCTechHelp: Well if all else fails then you can flash back to the original firmware by using kies mini. Also with the donations I do have a donation button on the sidebar of my website. So feel free to if you think that it is appropriate.

Ender Alvarez: is the same

Food Porn Network: he said ou had to do something or it might not work right, cant remember what it was lol but you didnt do it in your video.

Kenneth Rich: i need help i want to know when the program notices my phone and turns yellow, what file am i looking for b/c i cant seem to find it? please help

TheJCTechHelp: Just go back to the original OS. I would rather you have a non bricked phone then a 200 dollar paper weight.

Emanuel Sotomayor: Funcionó a la perfeccion, muchas gracias

TheJCTechHelp: Like i said redo it but clear the cache and format the settings.

Tony Medina: you are so freaking awesome. Tried Super One Click with no success. but now im rooted and only took couple of minutes... thank you so much

ddbowman: cache.rfs

Sam Taler: hi there , the ODIN recognise the pone in normal mode not in download mode , do u know why ?

autumnsun570: Holy crap. I'm rooted. I can't believe I didn't brick my phone...this video needs to be renamed 'rooting for dummies'. It was that easy!
