mncarguy: My township used this stuff on my road and didn't pack it down at all. I guess they just want the through traffic to do that for them.. It's not being packed down in the correct areas because it's sticking to peoples tires, spraying up into the wheel wells and just getting flung everywhere. Let's just say I wasn't very happy hearing it getting blasted up into my new truck's wheel wells and seeing it splattered around the inside of them.. Looks like a good product if it's applied properly though..
Allen Mears: @mike92586. A simple solution to the asphalt patch material sticking to your tamper: spray a little cooking oil on the bottom of your tamper. This stuff worked great and was easy to use and apply. A homemade tamper does just as well - look up a few homemade solutions on the 'net to creating your own if you don't want to buy one for one occasion
Michael Korben: Yes I agree with you, but I still think it is the cleanest and easy way to fix pot holes in an economical way.
mike92586: had problems with tamping it down with tamper it kept clumping up and it would not come off, the cold patch kit at 0:49 worked a lot better and looks like a professional did it but it was not as easy to work with as this stuff.
