FirefighterEMT804: Love this rest, but with my experience with it I would not cut the excess cord short and burn it so it looks clean. I wouldn't do that because the cord tends to stretch after 50 to 100 shots or so and having a little cord to help pull the rest tight again after a break-in period on the cord is way easier then trying to work with only the burnt end. Not saying leave 6 inches of cord but having an inch to an inch and a half is good.

byronwp: I love my new trophy taker FC. Super Easy to set up and shoots great groups right off the get go. I like the limb attachment, it is solid and almost goof proof. the rest is super quiet because of the built in rubber stoppers under the blade/launcher. thanks for building a great rest.
