chromebook, this a very detailed tutorial which I found on youtube. After
installing a small sized ubuntu with the xfce-4 environment on your
sd-storage, you can switch between ChromeOS and Ubuntu.

he said above but in words so you can see
1) Press escape, refresh, power
2) Press control, d
3) Press enter
4) Leave computer alone till it reboots to developer mode
5) Sign in
6) Download link
7) Go into terminal = control, alt, t
8) Type "shell"
9) Type "sudo sh -e ~/Downloads/crouton -t xfce"
10) Press enter
11) Wait for it to finish download and install (Don't let it go to sleep)
12) Click no and press enter
13) Set username and password (Google account)
14) Fill out information
15) Type "sudo startxfce4" and press enter
16) Click use default
Installing Ubuntu Update
17) Open Terminal
18) Click on Terminal emulator
19) Type "sudo apt-get update"
20) Enter your password
21) Type "sudo apt-get install synaptic"
22) Type "y" to continue
23) Let it do its thing
Installing Libre Office
24) Type "sudo apt-get install libre office" and press enter
25) Type "y" and press enter
26) Just wait till it is done

switched off my Chromebook thinking I can re-access XFCE4 from the
Terminal. However, when I type 'sudo startxfce4' in, it simply says no such
