Jacob Hinsley: this suck i tryed to i put in D and pressed tap butt it did not work

davis ': skyrim surprisingly runs well on a chromebook :-?

Zvejnieku Iela: Ok, after using XFCE for a couple of hours I can honestly say that the only good thing it did to me is that now ChromeOS seems a bit less of a piece of sh*t. The XFCE has really given me headache. First of all, it doesn't seem to properly recognize the touchpad sensitivity on the ChromeBook -- all the clicks have to be made the hard way, heavily pressing the touchpad which gets extremely annoying since the CB touchpad doesn't seem to be built to be used this way. Every time I press the touchpad, the laptop itself bends good 5 mm inwards. Second, the interfaces are terrible and even lower quality than those of the ChromeOS. Third, the VLC player I installed doesn't play videos, why? Fourth, now it's not running anything at all. All the interfaces of the windows have gone blank, the mouse icon is a black cross and nothing moves, and it remains this way however many times I reboot the system. All of this happened only because I tried to copy a test video file from my Macbook Pro. Why? What the hell?

Medin Markovic: This guy sounds otb European lmfao

Attack-on-Jeagerz: Ok so I got to that part when he types sudo sh.. in crosh & everything seemed to download fine but by the end it said chronos@localhost /$ What do I do know?? I tried to do it again but it says it already has stuff in it

SuperCarim: Friend me everything went well but when running to return to see your video and return to ubuntu the screen was black and I was saying who enters the localhost login enter my data but nothing I hope you help me

goth1856: you tube is not working. what do i need to do or install? i'm using chrome browser of course. edit: ok! that it is only on chrome that it don't work - fine on firefox. also you may not be getting sound - install this - 'pulse audio mixer' - you'll find it in your synaptic package manager. update: install HTML5 for youtube. after it is installed you'll see a shield with a '5' in the bottom left of the controls for the video. click on it and then choose one of the options to make it play. profit!

Jacob Hinsley: whats the wbsites name to download

antionio marengo: Hi, I tryed to follow the whole procedure and i understand it but when the crosh procedure was done i tryed to put in a password but it won't type and so i try to redo it but it said has stuff already in it and or try to delete it but idk how (HELP)

jake borbon: What kind of ubuntu is it cause I can't download skype

Tom2112Tom: Very cool! Thanks for the instructions. Here's some helpful hints for quick reference: Ctrl-D - skips the boot warning Ctrl-Shift-T - opens the ChromeOS terminal window In the terminal: shell - starts the command shell so you can kick off XFCE (Linux) sudo startxfce4 - command to start XFCE (only needed if you rebooted or powered down) Ctrl-Alt-Shift-Right-Arrow or Left-Arrow: switch between ChromeOS and XFCE (note that's not the cursor arrows at the bottom right of the keyboard, it is the two arrows next to the Esc key in the upper left.)

Jason Musk: crapty video quality, great content.

Lukas Johansson: Thank you so much!

Tato Calderon: Hello! hey I followed all the process and I get ubuntu in my chromebook. I could use both chrome OS and ubuntu. I turned off the computer, and then I turned on, I use Chrome for a bit, I when I try to move to Ubuntu the key control does not do anything. Do you know what can I do to use ubuntu again??? I have just intalled it today...
