Jerminator Peace: I agree with Hodgetwins most of the time, but this time "I'm going to do
whatever the freak I want to dooooooo!"
Daniel Schimmel: I would like to point out that the legendary wrestler and coach Bruce
Baumgartner as well as the legend Ivan Ivanov use bands and they produce
some very strong athletes
rich uk: I use weights and bodylastics at home, for example my back is screwed so
bent over rows are great with bands. You can build muscle.not everyone
wants to be a muscle Mary anyway. I agree with twins on most things, but
every so often they talk a little crap. If i listened to them I wouldn't of
bought citrulline,it didn't work for them ,but great for me.Also bands are
great for flys ,shrugs, the lot .but weights still make up 60-70%of routine.
Dj SoLo aSSaSSiN: free weights all day!!!!
brandon frey: What about pushups with a band? You're saying it's worse than bodyweight?
supun kumara: Oh boy.. Guess who skipped the physics class !!
LOWRIDER4LIFE1: try telling this powerlifters this about resistant bands... Powerlifters
would pick you two muppets up and snap you in half.
Soleil Leah: Resistance bands actually do more to the body than a standard barbell.
When lifting a barbell with your elbow in, you can easily hold it up, but
with a resistance band fixed to the ground, when in that same position you
are doing work in your arm, legs, butt etc. The lever arm of the band is
much longer than the lever arm of a weight. More lever arm equals high
levels of torque, and the purpose of exercise is all about controlling and
creating torque! lol
BlueWindTv: back when you 2 looked like gay partners
MrGeassR2: 2:51 That crap happened to me last night except it hit me in the chest AND
SNAPPED MY crap UP! Knocked all the air out of me.
DJKJSeph: Ahh... I see you have been posting this SCAM crap everywhere. I see your
co-workers, bros, sis, and dad have told you this crap works. People! Don't
fall for this SCAM crap!
TheSmokaholik: @wylderhoads88 ^ Says the guy with a teggy tribute on his channel, LMFAO.
Titus Pullo: The strength in bands comes from the sport specific motions utilizing
resistance across different planes than cant be achieved with weights;
being that gravity only works downward. You'd tend to see the benefits of
bands more so when your focus shifts toward dynamic athletic performance in
a 360 degree field of battle across every plane of motion. For oiling up in
front of the mirror in ur g-string to get a pump in your rhomboids, its
true-- conventional bodybuilding modalities are the way to go.
GiefGoldPlx: Bands are mostly for rehab after an injury to build muscle before you get
back into free weights.
swie tjen: Hey there, have you heard about "Musclegend" (just search Google)? On their
website you can watch a great free video explaining how you can build
notable lean muscle very fast while reducing excess fat simultaneously.
Christian is one of the numerous men who had positive results because of
this approach. Hopefully it works for you also.
chrisbk27: yo I seen all your videos almost this bullcrap I agree with one part
RainbowTele: They are great for rehabing injuries, travel and training small specific
muscles like rotatercuff etc. Also just if your not looking to get big, but
just get toned.
dentfit1: Muscle WILL respond differently. Compare 30 lbs of tension throughout a
movement vs 30 lbs only half to the end. MUscle is not as dumb as some die
hard band supporters claim. I'd suggest reading some muscle mechanics and
physiology. The statement " muscle doesn't know the difference " almost
always come from pelple who don't have much experiences with true weight
training. I'm not bashing band training. It will get you in a great shape
if you go at it hard and consistently but NOT FOR mass.
Sameer Ismail: Man :( i have 2 resistance bands thinking i had some equipment for building
prippropro: Bands are great for muscle density and strength, but not that much for
getting bigger..I have a set of bands and i can tell you that they are much
challenging than weights, since they don't work with gravity the more you
stretch them the greater the force applied to your muscle. I do thai boxing
and i use them for improving my explosiveness in knees, kicks and punches
and they're awesome! But again if your looking for bulking up get a pair of
shabtash: Theres no need for that, but they certainly appear very smug and pleased
with themselves when, in terms of bodybuilding they have nothing but
average physiques with water retention in the face. Of course, to the man
off the street - great physiques, but to the fitness community...meh.
Still, they give sound advice, expecially about supplements.
fkthisman19: word!!! i snapped some crap up with those resistance bands lmao =(
Josh McNeely: Resistance training in my opinion is not that great at all. The bowflex is
a terrible machine to workout on. You have to work really slow to feel
anything on a bowflex. And not to mention it takes forever. Bands would be
good for the same concept as using chains for certain barbell excersises.
But I guess bands are better than nothing though.
MiGL: IV ALWAYS WONDERED WHY THE SAME WEIGHT SEEMS HEAVIER OR LIGHTER AT A
DIFFERENT GYM ?!?!?!?!?!?
Mustang Guy: Hodge Twins Rock!! Yo You Got Smoked!
Aj007cool: Lol cool
pballninja: ive broken a resistance band like they said, it hit my back...... freakIN
hurt like hell.
Jayson Pearce: Bands attached to dumbells......now you're talking
He Le: in fact, I use them because I had several injuries last year and those
bands are better for my bones and joints.
dentfit1: ONe more, Band suporters always talk about the lbs bodylastics ( or any
other bands ) put out as their max resistances. THEY ARE DIFFERENT from
lifting dead weight because the weight is not constant. Your muscle will
know that. When nuatilus machines came out, exercise physilogists knew that
muscles will respond differently. Why do band supporters keep saying '
muscle doesn't know the difference'? Just do a set of biceps curl with both
bands and weight and see if they feel the same..
Thetruenihilus: bands are great, depending on what your planning to do. If you want to get
a full body workout and get pretty toned, do Muay Thai kickboxing. Fastest
most efficient way I found. And just lift, with a high protein diet to get
ouss991: so this advice is none sense
DJKJSeph: @reflectionks your right that they don't snap but your not going to be a
bodybuilder using bands alone. You need to incorporate the bands with free
Cunkdoat: Lmao the bands worked for me, but you are right about how if that crap
snaps... Its gonna freak your crap up. I was using one with the door stop
and it pried the freaking door open and popped me in the back. That crap
left welts and hurt like freaking hell.
Farid Abuid: Jimmy is that you?!
D Bechtel: except the tension isn't consistant.. the weight feel like less at the
top.. and is a ton in the middle. The band just works the opposite way.
Invest in good bands. that and make sure there is tension even on the
negative.but you can do whatever the freak you wanna do
Achyut Kayastha: My classmates laughed when I told them I was going to build muscle with
"Rapid Muscle Booster", but then I showed them the results. Google Rapid
Muscle Booster to see their reaction. (It was epic!)
jose rivera: Hey really bad info........Resistance bands work i been using bodylastics
for a year now cuz i hurt my back.....and gotten bigger with them...o and
im bigger then both of yall put together i got pics if whant me to prove
chrisbk27: if you just use resistance bands you won't get results but if you add
different exercises like pushups and pullups you're definitely gain size
especially with a good diet this is just my advice listen to what the freak
you wanna listen to
tillallareoneluv: Maybe. I have the bodylastics T Owens edition.
shabtash: resistance bands are a good supplement to free weights. But resistance is
resistance, your muscles dont know the difference between 100kg worth of
force from barbel weights, or from resistance bands. You tend to be able to
use better form with resistance bands, but to gain muscle you need a high
resistance set. Some of them can provide combined resistance well over
Ashutosh Kushwaha: If you really desire to get you a well-defined body, you must make a search
on Google for "SSM Muscle Method". You are going to end up getting the body
JNRdrigz: if you use them, bitches will resist talkin to your ass...
voianhemsed: Bands are not great for squats? Maybe you have never used decent bands to
do those then because it is not easy to do squats with 5 thick heavy long
bands hooked through two handles at all. What bands did you try to do
squats with? Very few bands are high quality, most are cheap single dipped
in my opinion.
TheAllthatmakeup99: Haha youse are piece of s**t resistance obviously work when it's on p90x
cuz p90x is the best selling home workout out there n I'm one oft em they
have transformed I was 20% body weight n now on 8%
Dexter Carter: Tie that crap to something not even your asses could budge and keep the
tension high by shortening the band. The exercises they're used for protect
your rotator cuff and are a great way to keep the muscles you just used for
d/b and b/b exercises, under tension ...having 2 minute breaks between sets
is bullcrap.. keep the muscles working and get the freak out the gym as
quick as possible. freaking love bands man.
voianhemsed: Using (lifelineusa bands in a triple handgrip) for 3 months got rid of a
tendon problem I had with my elbow. That was totally unexpected. Ive been
doing weights for a while and never had such results.
fireheartis1: I call bull crap. There is a guy on here who does nothing but residence
bands and calisthenics and he's freaking huge. Look up calisthenicskingz
and you'll see what I mean. I hate free weights always have always well, so
residence bands and calisthenics are for me all the way. I also use Total
Gym, and although I'm not huge right now I have lost a lot of weight and
gained 3 1/2 inches on my biceps. I went from a wimpy 10 1/2 bicep to a 14,
so yah they do help you gain.
D Bechtel: I use bodylastics , a weighted backpack a suspension trainer, a pullup bar
and my own bodyweight. I've made awesome progress personally
