Solitario solito: is the same for horizontal lines ?
Ken Pappas: Great. What is the thickness of those shims?
سناء قداب: iam freak you
RobotronZone: Those ribbons are glued on so after time the tv gets hot and the glue
loosens just a bit , which causes the problem
Stephen Low: You need to be careful about placing rubber between the metal frame and the
bond chip, It uses the dimple in the frame as a heat sink as well as a
press. Could you have tried heat on the that chip's pins to reflow it a
laure atkinson: GREAT VIDEO
Miguel Ycaza: great video this fixed my tv Worked perfect.
Bobby Rutgers: I have the same TV and it's been doing this randomly for a while now. Last
night I got fed up with it and found that if I applied pressure to the top
of the tv it would fix it so I sandwiched a piece of folded paper between
the metal frame and plastic bezel and it fixed it.. until I turned it on
tonight, I'll have to try this.
Alberto Garcia: I have a 54 inch Lcd sony bravía that has a ghost image on the right half
side of the screen. Will this method fix it?
John Tate: Thanks man I have the exact same tv. It was doing this on the right side
only. Worked perfect. TY
Roe Carter: Ty so much I have a Hisense tv and this solution worked for me only I used
pizza box cardboard lol
Aaa Sto: you can safely run a soldering iron over those tab bonds. 30 watt, go slow
and you can see them re-seal. Only works if the glue is still somewhat
fresh. much better than hair dryer, heat gun, etc.
Ballistic Tuna: Quick question. I have the same problem when I turn the tv on. After about
20 minutes of warmup it goes away. I will be trying your fix either way.
Great job on the video! Haters please go away. He is helping folks :)
joe bigtool: You know you are hurting the tv repair business,if you do this for a living
you are just cutting your own throat, yep great job,you will be out of work
soon if you keep this up.
Sam Flores: Dude! I have the same brand and model TV I didn't want to spend my kids
Christmas money on a new TV. Thank you! I read the comments someone left
about hurting the tv repair business but that's what you tube is about I
get tips about motorcycle repair etc. My kids thank you buddy! Screw that
dude that left that comment half of people these days can't even turn a
wrench or a screwdriver!
Bobby Rutgers: It worked! I had to do it a little differently, putting pressure on the
cable didn't do anything, it seemed that putting pressure on the glass
where the cable goes into glass worked, so I shimmed it with a few layers
of a business card cut into small strips, held in place with a piece of
electrical tape also cut into a thin strip and sandwiched it in between the
glass and metal frame, hopefully it gives me a bit more life out of the tv.
Alex Aljo: i have sony bravia klv-32s400a while watching my tv the smoke comes out
from the tv the power goes out power led indecator keeps on blingking. when
i open it the smoke comes from the t-con board and IC nos.U6 was blown.if i
replace and buy new t-con board it will not blown again?thanks pls.
Meathead: I have this same exact TV and used this method except I just cut some lil
1"x1/4" strips out of a styrofoam plate instead of an old tire tube. I have
no electronics background. But when all put back together there's no more
half dark ghost screen. Guess we'll see how long it last.
Hen2DaRock: any advice every thing was working good.until i put the meddle frame back
on now i have no image it power on and stay on but its just a blank screen
any help or advice
bigdog8882: You should start selling those little rubber tabs as a kit. I would have a
hard time going into a tire shop explaining to them what I needed. Good
SovereignRangers: Thank you very much, just fixed my own TV thanks to your vid!
Mousa Msh: You sir, AMAZING! Thank you so much for the help and I got my TV fixed and
its working perfectly but I placed the rubbers and they sort of slipped out
on the screen layer Will it effect the performance of the TV? (Such as
Overheating, Playback time)
zaprodk: Thsi may be a problem with "SANYO" TV's but the panel is from AU Optronics,
so it seems that AUO have a manufacturing problem, not Sanyo.
Javier RO: i hafe this problem, in external monitor works grate
Rob77Redskins: norcal715, I have a Sony 50e2000 Grand Wega that has an optical block
failure. I was looking at a 50" Sanyo FVM5082 at Sam's Club to replace it.
After spending $2,000 bucks on the Sony, only to have it fail, makes the
Sanyo look more attractive because of the price. Is this problem still
common with the newer Sanyos? Is it as common as the optical block failure
was with the Sony Grand Wegas? I read on a tech forum that Sanyo LCD TVs
were very reliable. Is that accurate?
rcwood28: Awesome tip! Worked like a charm! Had this same problem with the same TV
and this totally worked! Thanks for posting this!!
David Aponte: Did exactly what you did but used cardboard shims and masking tape....was
too excited to get the stuff u used. You are through and I appreciate your
vids. Thank s for this awesome upload. I bought TV for $30 and came across
this later,. Its perfect now.
becki4bears: Anyone have a more permant solution to this? It lasted a while, but is
moonlitnitz1: You are the man! We just fixed our Sanyo tv doing what you showed us here.
We spent all day looking and planning on buying a new tv. Thank God we
decided to wait.Thank you so much! Hopefully it will last a little while
Andre Franca: Thank you very much. You did and show how great some people are to do and
share goodness to the others. Good Bless You, for your performance and
helping to fix my TV. Works great. Thanks Again. SunnyTA2002.
MrJaybird1995: i had the same problem and did this and it works it goes in and out but it
Brad28604: Yea mine is blurry on the left side and dark diagonally down the middle.
Didnt work but thanks for the try
ubuntututorials: Great fix! The only thing I keep noticing about your videos is the number
of commercials on US TV... it seems to be mostly commercials.
castro cash: I tryed this and it worked now im hearing a hissing noise from the back and
the picture goes black but i still have sound any ideas about that?
FlufyGamePlay: I did this today with my friend and it was a complete success. It worked
well and all I used was some electrical tape and some cut up erasers.
Thanks for doing this, my TV finally has some use.
joelarcoable1: YOU SHARE GREAT VIDEOS I THINK I WILL LEARN A LOT FROM YOU THANKS
olararoadrunnecom: i want to thank you for this tip you saved me 300 bucks
Gitano281: Many thanks for the vid. My Sanyo is having a similar problem, but it is
more of a hazy distortion on the right side as opposed to the half screen
issue shown here. There is a video titled "Samsung 46" LCD TV screen
problem" that appears to be exactly what mine is experiencing. Do you think
this solution might work on that as well? In any case, thanks again.
trey lawson: you are gonna get the crap shocked out of you
linagee: Crazy. Sounds like a bad factory soldering job. :-(
Grant Fullen: Hey thanks for your videos great job :)
Ahmad Adib Yunus: thank you very much norcal715. i manage to fix my toshiba 19HV10. its the
same problem. the ribbon cable. i wonder why the manufacturer cannot make
it more sturdier. is it a scam to make people buy new tv? anyway... thanks
again dude. it save my money.
123Lqueenl: How long does it last?
norcal715: for the price sanyos seem to be quite reliable, other than some of the
older ones like this one with a panel failure
stevenpotts24: Thank you, thank you, thank you.
san juana Morris: so true
xMOFOx13: Heres another solution...DONT BUY SANYOS
Grants Pass TV Repair: Good job. Thanks for the video.
ubuntututorials: The LCD panel used in this TV is an AUO. You will find AUO in Samsung,
Sony, LG, Toshiba, Sharp, Vizio and Sanyo TVs, among many others.
Brad28604: I take that back it worked. I just put shims in different places thank you
