Halen Martini: Why is magic man playing in the background
Randy Wittkopf: Why didn't you just glue the rubber to where you originally pressed on chip/connector to fix it? and a 3/16" longer screw when reattaching front cover?
Niyas M: hello
Robert Demaio: samsung tv distorted
Austin Belsome: weird i was just having the same problem.... gave it a good smack now it works
Aeroman223: Thank you for this posting! I was seriously considering buying a new TV. I used strips of 1/8" thick self-adhesive foam on the outside only; I didn't want to risk detaching the circuit boards. My picture is perfect again, thanks to you.
Colleen Culbreth: I meant feed the cable back through the t-con
Colleen Culbreth: how to I feed the T-con back through?
Elisabeth Arroyo: did this and it semi worked......my son had to figure out y the picture became distorted and then it went black....we began to see y and then the picture came in as he realized that the circuit board was loose....so we put electrical tape on the very edge of the circuit board not disturbing any circuits and it worked...not the pressure points he showed on the video but the circuit board was loose....thank u very much this video was very very helpful.....
Jacob Trujillo: Looks fine to me
Francisco Javier Barros: hola me gustaria saber cuales son esas cuñas de goma que as puesto, donde se pueden conseguir?
chloe trammel: I can't figure out how to change the picture mode on my Sanyo tv. can u help?
Roy Crowley: After 4 or 5 (times) that should read!
Roy Crowley: Thank-you very much!!! My 46" Sanyo had the right dark side. Pressed on the IC nothing worked at first. After 4 or 5 true something seemed to pop(?) in place! Still goes dark at first but becomes clear after few minutes and stays. No shims even. Leave well enough alone! You must be a T.V. repairman's worst nightmare!! Again. thank you!!!!
Marshall Flint: i did this and now i got lines going left to right
Nolito Abejero: how can you repair a double images on sanyo LCD model 32XR10SA.
David Basara: I fixed using an insulating adhesive rubber, but now I have a black bar about 7 cm thick going vertically. maybe bad panel?
David Basara: Brilliant! Where did you get the rubber from? Should it be heat resistant?
Bobby Gorden: You would think that lcd manufacturers would install a connector on the lcd and a connector on the board with a replaceable ribbon connecting the two together. Just poor designs in my opinion. This is a common problem on many brands of TV's. Sometimes this temporary fix works and other times it will not depending on how loose the bond is on the panel or on the board.
BadPete999: I'm a retired tv repair man guess that what we have a hard time to digest that a flat screen top notch tv that you paid 2400.00 in let's say 2008-2009 lasted only 4 to 5 years to learn afterward that the lcd panel is finished when the old CRT tv lasted before 15 up to 20 years lol. , to repair my own Sony 52'' Sony told me the price of LCD panel plus Tcon board would be around $1500.00 now in 2016 in can buy the same size in 4K resolution for that amount , but it's true governments should put a law forcing the manufacturers to warranty their LCD screen for at least 8 years with a deductible ...Guess instead of buying one 55'',65'' or 70'' expensive flat screen tv we are probably better to buy 3X48'' who are way less expensive spread them around the house..The scary part is that these manufacturers build the newer flat screen exactly the same way in 2016 with that Kapton tape connectors who wont last any much more from delamination than the first one did..
