adan barber: it says instalation aborted :(
e fred: You forgot to tell to install clockworkmod. ;-)
Creed .Denton: Garbage!
InfernoByrd1: Google apps link in the description
InfernoByrd1: Try downloading a different version of CM10. Just make sure it's the
specific one for your phone.
Alexander Perera: Is there a way to get all my apps back?
InfernoByrd1: You must do a data factory reset and wipe dalvik cache in recovery. Also
try redownloading the file.
rbautista7: Hey koolfool what recovery do you have? I had the same problem till I
upgraded my recovery to 6.0 and also you have to use the correct Google
Apps for the CyanogenMod because if you don't have the right one it will
give you that problem with keyboard.
Stuart Oakley: Can I flash this over the top of CM9 or do I have to revert back to
InfernoByrd1: did you do the resets and wipe?

my first phone and now i have my first rom. where can i find gapps? i did a
back up but not using nandroid or any of that, will i have to redownload
all my apps? you rock man. if anyone is having trouble after watching this
video you are doing something wrong cuz im came out of a brick and followed
this guy step by step and loving the results!!!!!!
ChimacharChar117: i did everything exactly of what you said and when i tried installed the
cm-10-20121011-EXPERIMENTAL-d2tmo-M2.zip it sait assert failed
Nicole Lee: thanks ! everything easy peezy ! works great !
InfernoByrd1: No, this will restore your old rom if you did a backup before loading the
new one on there. When you do a backup it saves your system exactly the way
it is at the time the backup is made. If you did not make a backup prior to
loading the new rom then your phone, as it was before loading it, is no
longer restorable. The best you can do is to find a stock rom and flash it
like you did the other one and try and restore your apps and data manually.
JesseTNBT: thanks, it worked very easily. the only problem i have is that i got an
update for cyanogenmod10 and when i tried to update it said there was an
error verifying signature or something, any idea how to fix it?

Donnie Monroe: omg!!!!!! why cant i get nomore apps!!!!!!
Stuart Oakley: Nice one. Now running CM10. Thanks very much.
InfernoByrd1: You have to be properly rooted and use the proper Cyanogenmod. There are
many of them for different phones even different S3s so be careful.
Thomas Swihart: everytime i try this, it keeps saying installation aborted. t mobil sgh t999
InfernoByrd1: using the gapps .zip install from recovery like you did with the cyanogen
Not a Nazi: If you haven't already, download the gapps file and install it just like
InfernoByrd1: Did you put it on your external or internal sd card? Try putting it on a
different one and make sure you have the right zip file for your phone.
MOTST NZ: I did the same, thankfully I could recover with odin :P I never got a
Andrew Latus: do we have to extract the file before you know putting it on your sd card?
InfernoByrd1: The google apps, however, I have a download for in the description to flash
them from recovery.
InfernoByrd1: Dude, Idk. lol. Try a different rom.
TheChaosCamp: It boots to the CyanogenMod spinning thing and just stays there. How do you
Peter Sorensen: what if I don't have an external SD card?
Hydravolt: I am using everything you did, but i still get status 7 installation aborted

Rusty Martin: Mine is taking forever on the loading

the rom . how can i fix it ? I've try to flash that rom to another s3 and

Nick Darko: freaking sweet! Have a Nexus 7 tablet and rooted it. Just got the Samsung
Galaxy S3 and the OS just annoyed me in comparison. Watched the rooting
vids for this phone. Had slight differences but nothing too drastic. Works
amazingly! Seems to be exactly like my tablet. For the nexus, need to get
the OS update to stop. Probably would help if I put a rom on it too. If you
have a vid for that, please let me know. Thumbs up for the vids, banana,
ultimate frisbee and "not having too many rooting vids."
Nelson Pagan: I have a question since Im new to Android... If I were to install a rom on
my device that is based on jellybean do I have to have jellybean install
first? I have the S3 for At&t and is running ICS 4.0.4. I just want to have
my phone with all the blue status icons like jellybean. What do I need to
do to get this? Im rooted already thanks to your video. Also thanks for
your videos keep it up.
amnesicpachyderm: Also, google now probably wasn't on your phone because you didn't also
flash the latest google apps after you flashed CM10.
Thomas Swihart: me also. i downloaded the file many times and followed all the steps..its
pissing me off
Tampaxrelief: works great man! i got it the first time. just follow the directions peeps.
